I had an election canvasser come to my door 2 days ago wearing her scrubs & Planned Parenthood ID. I told her all adults in my home would be voting early (blue) & answered her questions. I was sad when she left, as she turned back & thanked me for being kind when most of my neighbors weren't.

Proving he's a coward, a true grifter, he had workers conceal the removal with tarps. The public gathered on line and in the rain on site to witness restoration, and the twat hid the work. Crews had lifts to put it up quickly in the day, and delays & obfuscation when dismantling.

I was a kid when we celebrated the Bicentennial. Two friends and I scored tickets for an early July concert with Eric Clapton called the Liberty Jam in Baltimore. I saw something today that reminded me there are good people out there. I thought the traffic slowdown I encountered was an accident involving a truck & a motorcycle. As I got closer it became clear that the truck, car & bike had pulled over to help a man who fell out of his stuck wheelchair.

I was asleep when the news broke last night. My heart goes out to the families. I worked after our crash to get the Family Assistance Act of 1996 passed, so unlike us, they have some support & resources. I can't imagine how much more difficult this administration will make things. Heartbreaking.
