I really like writing code. I find it fun. I don't ever want to be told to have an AI write my code for me. I'm not saying AI is all terrible. I do use it to do certain tasks, like write unit tests, but for the real stuff, I still want to write it myself.

Every year there is some trash taking over a bunch of ad space during the super bowl. My hope is that the AI ads will spell the end of some of this junk. Just like crypto. Just like the .com bubble. Just like other stuff I'm forgetting.

After all these years of using Windows Update, I just can't understand how it remains so incredibly awful. The concept of "download and install patches," while complex, isn't an unsolvable problem. Steam does it extremely smoothly. Maybe Microsoft should throw more AI at it. Yeah, that'll solve it.
