I find the analogy between programmers/AI and farmers/tractors exactly on point. Those that refuses to move to the more efficient - easier to work with - new tools available, and those that are excited and ahead. Yeah... Guess which sector has the highest suicide rate ?...

Yep! I'm worried this will be the hardest part; uncovering the difference from my customers between the head and the tail. My best theory is that I need to talk to them, but first, I need to build a script for asking the right questions (I think)

It's kind of a grey area where media is thriving on. Anthropic has indeed a project named Panama where they rip appart a book to be able to scan it, destroying it in the process. That part has been officialized. But they aren't destroying the same content to avoid access, it's not Fahrenheiht 451

I'm not sure you'll find it, much like Sisyphus. If you were to have an actual button you could push to get your rush of happiness, you'd click on it too many times every day, making the sensation to become the norm, normal, and this would flat out the feeling.

That's what I'm hoping it will be (running getfernand.com adding features and features for 6 years now). But I can't keep wondering if that will always be the case, looking at the progress AI is making day after day..

Cyril and I sat together during our last offsite and set a simple goal: reach $100k MRR in 2026 with Fernand, just the two of us. Zero hiring, like the good old days when we got started in his parents basement. It sounds crazy ambitious, but the way we work makes me think it could be realistic.

I have these two comments in the db table, and had to increase the size because of Lemon Squeezy. Today, we had to increase these once more because of LS, that provide a 1033 chars long access token. At this rate, we'll soon have to change the type to LONGTEXT ... 🤦‍♂️

That makes sense, you'd feel the same if you were to read a surgeon's case study of a surgery. But no one forces you to read these right?

So they are comparing tomatoes with potatoes. And with the potatoes being in a bubble on top of that. (Just to precise, it's these multiples/these targets to "aim" that are stupid)

That would have been a good thing but I live in a small town and I think finding a mechanical keyboard meet would take me for a 4 hours drive. It's hard to find a good keyboard (without testing) and the rabbit hole is crazy deep !

The kind of bug I hate the most!! Selecting the first option set the value to "null" (expected behavior) Remove the empty comment, and selecting the first option set the value to "Browser detection". ...wtf ?
