There was an older dude on my Norway tour from Wisconsin, huge Brewers fan and we talked almost daily about baseball. He had lamented about them never being able to get over the hump, but was excited about this season. I remember saying something like, it just takes the right group of guys to do it.

I am so so so excited for the Brewers and Brewers fans. I remember this feeling in 2021, and genuinely nothing in my life can compare to the emotion. Enjoy every damn second.

I did hope that mindset would end with Freddie and Dansby but unfortunately Olson seems to follow the same school of thought. Individual accomplishment over the good of the team. And he’s one of my favorite players, but yeah… sometimes I wonder.
