Oh yes, I still have that one, in the original construction colours. My brother and I loved it. So brilliant how it collects the “rocks”, delivers them, scoops them up again and puts them in the hopper only to do it all over again.

I love this! My brother and I had the Merry-Go-Copter and for years I couldn’t figure out what it was called, and then a few years ago I typed it something like “marble bottom Tomy figures on a train” and I found it. I bought a set on eBay and I’m so happy to own it again.

I went to an Internet cafe in the 90s before going on a trip to the US and I wanted to print a list of Playmates Star Trek action figures that existed. Turned out it was a dot matrix printer and it slowly ground back and forth with that classic noise, filling the whole cafe for seemingly an eternity

I can skim a how-to article with photos for what I need faster than watching a video. I’ve taken to turning on the closed captioning on videos so I can read them without sound. I’ve basically turned videos into articles.
