saw a video of someone hammering a flower onto a piece of paper to make a print of it. once hammered in, the mutilated remains of the flower were scraped off and thrown away, leaving behind an inert likeness of what was moments ago a thing whole; a single-use flower, destroyed to preserve its beauty
