Only two more weeks until all the single career women in New York go home to their parents and fall in love with a lumberjack widower who hasn't celebrated Christmas since the mother of his only child died.

Throwing out a few more of my #photography faves, taken in the USA and France - 1 captured on a Nikon D90 and the others using mobile phone cameras (Pixels 2 - 6 IIRC). Constructive criticism welcome as ever!

Colour photo showing the interior of the Museum of High Art Atlanta, featuring balconies and pleasing roof geometry.

Colour photo of the interior of a vineyard in the Champagne region of France, showing two rows of stainless steel stills and rubber tubing.

Colour photo showing the crumbling walls of a run-down Chateaux being reclaimed by ivy vines taken around the golden hour.

Colour photo showing the edge of a French Alpine après ski restaurant (complete with beautiful icicles) in the foreground and distant ski-runs and lifts in the background.

I'm going to try and post more of my #photography here and see how that goes. Constructive criticism is always welcome! First off, some recent black and white shots.

A black and white image of a narrow street dwarfed by tall buildings in Sofia, Bulgaria.

A black and white image of a Spanish sea wall on an overcast day.

A black and white image of a Dutch bicycle propped up against a pillar on a covered street.

The Dickin Medal is the highest award that can be issued to animals in British military service. Bearing the words "We Also Serve" it has been awarded 75 times since its creation in 1943. Only one cat has ever received the award. This is the story of Able Seacat Simon, of HMS Amethyst. 🧵 1/25
