I am ashamed of the people of McMinnville, Oregon for how they have abandoned and cast aside one of their own in the #LGBTQIA+ community. Have the Halstead and Shively families no remorse for how their trans daughter has suffered due to their abuse and neglect?! And horrible false accusations too...

All the misogyny, transmisogyny/transmisandry/transphobia, racism/xenophobia, ableism, homophobia and anti-intellectualism of this world supporting patriarchy gives me body and gender dysphoria. Like I would rather be feminine or a girl than any damn kind of cisgender, straight masculine man at all…

For me it isn’t enough to say that I hate even the concept of evil Christian Nationalism. At the roots of it are my own problems with Christianity and everything relating to even the basic tenets of being masculine or having masculinity.

Straight, cisgender white men are too protected a class in America and the world if you ask me.

Commander Adama @cmdradama1978.bsky.social · 08/06/2026

Is it wrong for me to feel that any and all bigots (racists, misogynists, homophobes, transphobes which include all the transmisandrists and transmisogynists and ableists) just deserve to burn in Hell for their hatreds in thought, word and deed? I may have lost a friend due to bigotry, so… why not?

I want to say and make it clear that MOST lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, intersex and asexual people writ large are NOT AT ALL liars, scammers or promiscuous at heart - and that ANYONE who virulently and or forcefully says and believes otherwise CANNOT be my friend.

@channelawesome.bsky.social Doug, as someone who watches The Cat In The Hat (2003) ironically, I would like to say there could be a meme from it. When there’s a very difficult choice… “There IS a thirrd option. Yes. It involves… muurrrdeerrr.” (Dissonant scary vaudeville organ notes)

#unpopularopinion I as a man or at least non-binary person prefer the girlboss-like genuinely strong female characters in fiction be they speculative or not who trample on toxic masculinity men. But then a few men look at me like I need involuntary commitment and or a lobotomy for having an opinion.

@jessiegender.bsky.social Jessie, I have seen your views on the Monomyth/Hero’s Journey. But as a burgeoning screenwriter, how can we salvage the Hero’s Journey without getting rid of it entirely? I want the cycle to be able to truly fight tyranny as a force for good. Or is it irreparably broken?

I'm now to give the lowdown on the main Cards featured in the No Zen expansion packs - #Expansion and #Meditation. Expansion Cards: Wisdom, Intelligence, Beauty, Courage, Willpower, Strength, Intensity

110

Commander Adama @cmdradama1978.bsky.social · 20/06/2025

Now we will move on to the cards in No Zen's first expansion, #NoZenExpansion. The name might seem trite, but expansion could refer and be associated with the expansion of the mind the monks go through, when through their breathing techniques, they harness the energy within, "expanding within".

Commander Adama @cmdradama1978.bsky.social · 20/06/2025

I will now go to an explanation of the themes of #NoZen, how they inspired the mechanics, at least for the base game first, for in this game especially, theme and mechanics go hand-in-hand in a very deep way. As you know, the theme of the game is to maintain mental stability when getting angry.

100

Commander Adama @cmdradama1978.bsky.social · 20/06/2025

In its infancy stages, it was already visible, the potential of the game #NoZen. Even though there were only 5 Qualities, and 12 copies of each, it was still a fun design, that if my friend had listened to his detractors, he would not have made something this wonderful and brilliant.
