I've been told that djinn stories are on par with spooky ghost stories. So, Happy Halloween! 👻🎃 #cafae #cafaelatte #genie #djinn

Glad you liked it! And honestly, SAME. I couldn't even LOOK at a book while studying history in and immediately after college, except Rick Riordan's Magnus Chase trilogy.

Genuinely depends on their taste, especially since I now have HEART OF IRON, too, a slightly darker rewrite of my CaFae Latte TikTok series. That's the most popular. I'd start with the genre tags I put by each title and go from there.

Honest-to-god, the boyfriend's line is a REAL THING he said to his victim. Also, not-so-fun fact: a woman who ends a man in self-defense or retaliation for SA/DV will be sentenced to TWICE as long as a man who ends a woman for rejection, cheating, pissing him off... #cafae #cafaelatte #prison

Sneak peak at my research for upcoming CaFae Latte skits! (Plus a cat tax.) Turns out the "Djinnology" book is not a collection of OG folklore like I thought, but MODERN stories utilizing OG rules/ideas, similar to what I do. Still a good read, tho.

Did you know one of the oldest recorded Wild Hunt stories was basically a traveler's log? An English courtier--Walter Map--was sent all over Europe for Henry II, and while he was at it he recorded local folklore--which makes him more of an early anthropologist. #ghoststory #fae youtu.be/J3s8oLLstOQ

I already do seasons (compilations of TikToks), which are far more useful in part b/c of the midroll ads. However, Shorts are useful for attracting more subscribers, largely b/c YouTube pushes them out so aggressively

Hmm, my stomach hurts. Is it: A) period cramps B) something I ate C) the fact that I've spent the entire afternoon researching Rowling's transphobia for a long-form YouTube video? I don't know, but an effective treatment to all three is a nap.

Tfw you get all pretty to record a YouTube video and go to the studio you rented...only to find the people who booked the next room are blasting music on speakers for their dance party. 🤦‍♀️ (It's okay; my booking got moved w/o charge and now I'm working on Heart of Silver to dance music. 📖💃)
