So the shop in this game has a unique mechanic: You can either buy things outright now, or you can add to your debt. Just like real life, make sure you're able to pay it back later... #indiegame #roguelike #gamedev

Your Debt Is Paid gameplay update! Every run now ends with a full damage report, so you can figure out exactly what's carrying your build... ...It also makes balancing a lot easier. Some abilities are definitely about to meet the nerf hammer. 🔨 #indiegame #roguelike #gamedev

I wanted to make a roguelike where death isn't the failure condition, but failing to pay your debt is. Every time you die, you meet the Debt Collector. As long as you can pay your ever-growing debt, you get another chance. And if you can't...it doesn't end well for you. #indiegame #roguelike
