While I probably did listen to NIN Pretty Hate Machine over 100 times, nothing tops Rise Robots Rise, which I listened to every day while walking my paper route for 2 years. (It's also on TVT Records.)

I'm not sure how I'm going to like the stealth elements of the game (haven't gotten to any yet), but what I've played so far has been fun. The story has me hooked already.

If you have Hue bulbs, take the dimmer out, and replace it with a on/off switch. Chopped AC from a dimmer is really hard on the internal power supply of the bulbs. Get the Hue stick on switch and use that to dim instead.

I'm just add one more thing. Look at the power supply you have now. If it says 100-240V 60/50 Hz. You can get one of these types of adapters that will let you plug it in. I used them for trips to Europe. Yes, they're really dangerous, unless you're careful. But they're cheap.

I've been running fiber in a factory that's being recommissioned. Found a white and red striped column labeled N7.

I tell my European friends that I prefer the Fahrenheit scale, because if it's below 0 or above 100 it means don't go outside. Haven't see a negative temp for a couple years. Bracing for this weekend. 🥶

The desktop mode in the latest Android 16 version is pretty good. This is a Pixel 8. I'm connected via cable USB-C alt display mode. Running the camera app on the external display, and tapping the shutter button on the touchscreen.

Watching some Only Connect. This one I knew the 1st and 3rd clues, so I could guess the final. The team was given credit, but they said, "there's a song called G6 by some band we can't remember." I was like, you mean Like a G6 by Far East Movement, which was produced using Propellerhead Reason?

I've not had a random game on a Saturday for a while. So here's Kingdoms of Amalur. I've actually been playing Re-Reckoning recently, having never finished any version of it before. It's a fun, open-world, fantasy RPG. Shame game studio nonsense got in the way of more people playing it.

There have been warnings about the default keyboards on mobile devices leaking everything that is typed on them. This was of particular concern to whistle blowers using encrypted communications. This is a setting that has existed for years on Android. (I've always had it turned off.)

Watching Richard Osman's House of Games. I'm pretty good at trivia, but getting this one made me particularly pleased with myself. This round one of the teams of two gets to see the question and each player can choose a word to blank out to make the question more difficult for the other team.
