Well, that sucked. I've had bad weeks before, but rarely do all 3 of my Streams of the Week disappoint. And disappoint is not quite harsh enough for what happened to the New Orleans defense. I mentioned in the article that I was hesitant, and I should have trusted my gut. In all my years writing this article, never has my Streamer Defense finished as the DEF32.

Club Fantasy’s Weekly Fantasy Football Matchup Report is here to help you set winning lineups. Each week, we highlight the ten defenses allowing the most points to QBs, RBs, WRs, and TEs, along with the five toughest matchups. Use this data to guide your start/sit decisions or build a DFS lineup that can win the slate. Here are the matchups to target and avoid for NFL Week 5.

As if injuries were not enough, now we have bye weeks to deal with. And to make matters worse, losing players from the Chiefs and Panthers, players like Patrick Mahomes, Bryce Young, Kenneth Walker, Tetairoa McMillan, and Travis Kelce, could be a real momentum stopper. But you still need to set a lineup this week, so let's get to the Week 5 waivers.

All in all, it was a rough Week 3 for my Streams of the Week. QB and TE let me down, but we did pick the top defense in fantasy, so there is a silver lining. However, even in what I call a bad week, there is still value in this article. As you may know, I give you 5 streamer options every week.

After a great Week 1, things came crashing back to Earth in Week 2. That applies to both the real football we saw and my streaming options in fantasy football. But we don't fret over a bad week. Let's dig into the best streamers for Week 3. Each week, I highlight five fantasy football streaming options at QB, TE, and DEF.

With Week 2 in the books, you start to ask some questions this week. Is your team a contender? What do you need to win? Do you even have a quarterback? Hopefully, waivers can help with those last two. This week’s best waiver wire pickups feature players stepping into bigger roles and potential league-winning adds you don’t want to miss. It was a damn good Week 1. We saw high scores everywhere, which is great for fantasy football. It also worked out well for my streamers, as all three Stream of the Week options scored 13+ fantasy points. Now, let's carry that momentum into Week 2. Each week, I highlight five streaming options at QB, TE, and DEF. These players are available in at least 50% of ESPN leagues and can still provide a matchup edge.

Welcome back, football! It was a WILD Week 1, and as we head into Week 2 of the NFL season, there is a chance your fantasy football team needs some help. This week’s best waiver wire pickups feature players stepping into bigger roles and potential league-winning adds you don’t want to miss. Every week, we’ll highlight our Top 5 waiver wire pickups to help you stay ahead of the competition and keep your roster strong.

It's finally here! Week 1! We made it through the summer, and it's time to set those fantasy football lineups. Not a lot of people stream in Week 1, and that's okay. You drafted your guys; start them with confidence. But if you do need some help, I've got you covered! Each week, I highlight five streaming options at QB, TE, and DEF.

The first quarter of the season is about finding answers. The second quarter is where fantasy managers either confirm their beliefs or realize they drafted the wrong players. Tampa Bay’s second quarter schedule is fascinating because it gives us almost every type of fantasy test: Dallas tests whether Tampa’s young weapons can produce every week. Pittsburgh tests whether they can survive against elite physical defenses.

Can Tampa Bay’s New Stars Survive the Toughest Stretch of the Schedule? Fantasy football is about adjustments. The first month of the season is about discovery. Fantasy managers learn who gets the targets, who earns the touches, and which players were drafted too late. For Tampa Bay, the first quarter was about answering one massive question: Who replaces Mike Evans? By Week 5, that question should have an answer.

The Seahawks caught most of us off guard when they selected Jadarian Price 32nd overall in the 2026 draft. This was widely considered a weak running back class as a whole. After Jeremiyah Love, there were major question marks surrounding all of the prospect profiles. Speaking of Love, he was the All-American running back who kept Price in a reserve role for the past two years at Notre Dame.

If you thought that the New England Patriots were going to the Super Bowl heading into the 2025 NFL season, a big congratulations is in order. Drake Maye had performed well in his rookie year, and there was certainly some NFL and fantasy buzz surrounding him, but it didn't feel like that he had that level of ceiling heading into Year 2.

Some fantasy football drafts are already underway for the real hardos out there, but for the majority of the redraft population, drafts won't start for a few weeks. Going into any draft comes with pressure and high expectations, especially for former league winners. Everyone is looking for that next breakout star, the player they can draft in Round 10 or later and hit on an absolute gem.

Puka Nacua had a career year last year. In his first year without Cooper Kupp, Nacua had 166 targets, 129 receptions, 1715 yards, and 11 total touchdowns. If you remember, I wrote about Puka Nacua a year ago. I made the case for him as the potential #1 WR in fantasy with a top-5 floor. I advised people to take Puka in the first round.

antasy football is about finding value before the rest of the league sees it. Every year, there are players who outperform expectations because opportunity meets talent. The first month of the season is where we find out which offseason narratives were real and which ones were just hype. Here are my bold predictions for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' first quarter of the 2026 fantasy season.

Fantasy football is a game of opportunity. Talent matters, but opportunity creates production. That is why the 2026 Tampa Bay Buccaneers are one of the most fascinating fantasy teams entering the season. Yes, I am a homer here.  For years, fantasy managers knew where the football was going. Mike Evans was going to get targets. He was going to win contested catches.

David Montgomery finds himself on a new team as the unquestioned lead back for the first time in years. But will his change of scenery lead to fantasy success for the savvy NFL veteran? Read on to find out! David Montgomery Will Help Win Your Fantasy League Explaining Montgomery's NFL Journey For the past few years, Montgomery has been the Robin to Jahmyr Gibbs' Batman.

When it comes to fantasy tight ends, we're always searching for the next league winner. For years, every talented rookie carried the same expectation: "Could he be the next Travis Kelce?" More often than not, the answer was no. Rookie tight ends simply didn't produce the way fantasy managers hoped. Then Sam LaPorta happened. A year later, Brock Bowers happened. Suddenly, we weren't telling people to avoid rookie tight ends.

D.J. Moore is a curious case this offseason. He’s now a Buffalo Bill catching passes from Josh Allen. Josh Allen is the best quarterback that D.J. Moore has ever had, by a wide margin (no offense, Caleb Williams). But he’s also 29, entering his ninth season in the NFL, and is coming off the worst year of his career. Did the change of scenery come at the right time for one of football’s better WRs this past decade?

Every fantasy football season, there are veterans the market quietly pushes aside in favor of younger, flashier names. In 2026, Mike Evans may be the biggest example. At first glance, the concerns are easy to understand. Evans enters his age-33 season coming off an injury-riddled year and is beginning a new chapter with the San Francisco 49ers. For many fantasy managers, those factors are enough to push him down draft boards into the WR3 range.

I don’t know why we can’t have nice things, but clearly we cannot. Just when we got proof of concept of Travis Hunter’s viability as a productive NFL wide receiver, he damaged his LCL in practice and missed the remainder of the season. Now fully healthy and facing a stacked receiver room and depleted cornerback room, will Travis Hunter get enough offensive run to pay off the fantasy investment fantasy managers will expect for someone with such a high draft pedigree?

When are we as a society, and especially a fantasy football community, going to come around to the fact that Rico Dowdle is good at football? All he’s done over the last two seasons is top 1000 yards rushing in each despite not entering the season as the nominal lead back for either of his teams (remember the Zeke Elliott/Dalvin Cook panic in Dallas pre-2024?

Every year in fantasy football, there's one player that pundits and prognosticators are divided on. They have a WIDE range of outcomes, and fantasy experts will plant their flag on the positive or negative as to why you should or shouldn't draft them. This year, that player is DeVonta Smith. His offense is changing, and he's now being thrust into a true WR1 role now that AJ Brown has been traded to the New England Patriots.

Year after year, it seems the story for the Los Angeles Chargers comes down to injuries. 2025 was no different. The team finished the season with an 11-6 record, making the playoffs for the second consecutive year. After a Wild Card round loss to the Patriots, the franchise was once again left wondering "what could have been?", as injuries severely impacted the offense.

The Green Bay Packers have been towards the bottom of the NFL in pass attempts for the past two seasons. Heading into 2026, I expect them to be more balanced on offense this season as Jordan Love continues to progress toward becoming one of the league's elite quarterbacks. They have a young wide receiver room with pieces that have each flashed huge potential.

Jalen Coker is a fascinating fantasy football target to dissect. He's entering a pivotal third year in the NFL, and his fantasy value is intricately linked to whether Bryce Young can support more than one fantasy-relevant WR (looking at you, Tetairoa McMillan). Going off the board as your WR54, it's not like you would need to break the bank to get Coker on your roster.

After an historic beginning to his career, Justin Jefferson looked to be QB-proof. Then J.J. McCarthy entered the room with a giant, flashing, neon “Hold My Beer” sign. Will a non-McCarthyian quarterback be enough to return Justin Jefferson to the ranks of the wide receiver elites? Or will the Vikings’ QB woes ruin what should be the prime seasons of a Hall of Fame-worthy career?

Each offseason, there are several predictable tropes that will emerge about specific players. One of them is born of the regular cycle of players changing teams. This leads many fantasy players to wonder whether new players can take over old roles. It is very much a similar line of thinking as the “vacated targets” argument. One player leaves a team. Another is signed, and therefore he must be poised to take over the same exact role, right?

Alec Pierce signed a massive deal this offseason to stay in Indianapolis. The ink has dried on a 4-year, $ 114 million deal. He is now the highest-paid WR on the roster, and the second-highest-paid player on the Colts. Michael Pittman Jr. is now in Pittsburgh. So, it is safe to say the Colts have made Pierce a focus of their offense.

I am a big fan of Mike Evans. That might be a weird way to start a Zay Flowers article, but I'll connect the dots. From the moment Evans entered the league, I enjoyed his game. Big, physical, and excellent at high-pointing a ball. The consecutive 1000-yard seasons helped too. Then I made the mistake so many fantasy managers make: chasing the next Mike Evans.

There's always one running back every fantasy football season that makes you stop, stare at the rankings, and ask: "How in the world is this guy being drafted there?" This year, for me, it's Bucky Irving. With an ADP of 45.2 and coming off the board as RB20, fantasy managers are drafting him behind names like Jeremiah Love, Josh Jacobs, Travis Etienne Jr., Javonte Williams, and Cam Skattebo.

To Infinity and Bijan. If you have had Bijan Robinson in fantasy football the last two years, then you are very familiar with that phrase. Maybe it's even been your fantasy football team name. Nonetheless, Bijan has taken the fantasy football world by storm in all formats. What do I mean by this? Robinson gets a heavy workload of rush attempts, is an elite pass catcher, and has scored 25 total touchdowns in the last two years despite Tyler Allgeier getting 19-plus attempts a season inside the 10.

I have said this before, and I will say it again: Predicting fantasy football is hard. We do our best, but no matter how much we study, none of us has any idea what will actually happen. But sometimes, we find clues. Sometimes, a player falls so far into a pattern that guessing at their outcome gets a little bit easier.

Malik Willis is a fascinating player to assess in fantasy football terms. In 2026, Willis is entering his 5th year in the NFL, and for the first time in his career, he is the undisputed starter for his team. Starting his career as a disappointing backup in Tennessee, Willis emerged as one of the best backups in the league after landing in Green Bay.

My gut says Joe Burrow is overpriced in fantasy football. That is the immediate reaction every time I talk about him. He can obviously swing weeks with elite quarterback play, but he also has the occasional high-turnover game, takes a ton of sacks, and those hits add up, both on the stat sheet and in games missed due to injury.

Kenneth Walker III. Super Bowl Champion. Reigning Super Bowl MVP. Kansas City Chiefs RB1. The Chiefs have been searching to fill that position with top-end talent since they cut Kareem Hunt in 2018 (before they brought him back). They have tried premium draft picks, like taking Clyde Edwards-Helaire in the first round; they have tried veterans just looking to be employed for the year; and they have ridden the hot hand with undrafted free agents and late-round picks (Isaiah Pacheco and Damien Williams).

The Saints had a promising 2025 with first-year HC Kellen Moore. They produced the WR6 and TE8 in fantasy football last year, and rookie QB Tyler Shough was the QB9 once we assumed the starting job in Week 9. For a team that finished 6-11, these are promising signs from an offense that, realistically, should only get better. The front office set out to make sure that would be the case.

From time immemorial, young tight ends have been dismissed along the fantasy landscape. But now, that mindset has all but disappeared. Rookie tight ends have dominated the positional attention span in the past several years. From Kyle Pitts’ 1000-yard season to Sam LaPorta’s overall excellence to Brock Bowers’ historic domination to Tyler Warren, Colston Loveland, and Harold Fannin all showing they had the goods to be included in the discussion of the elites for the next decade.

Let me start with a little behind-the-scenes. When no one volunteers to write about a team here at Club Fantasy, either Josh Hudson or I jump in and write the article. Well, Josh is an Eagles fan, so here I am covering the Giants. All in all, this offense definitely has some interesting pieces, and perhaps none more interesting than their running back, …

If there’s one Arizona Cardinals player I think fantasy managers continue to overlook, it’s Michael Wilson. After posting his first 1,000-yard season in 2025, Wilson enters the 2026 season as one of the most reliable pieces of the Cardinals' offense. Despite the team's struggles and constant questions surrounding the quarterback position, Wilson quietly finished the year with 78 receptions, 1,006 receiving yards, and seven touchdowns.

Tyjae Spears broke into the fantasy football zeitgeist after a standout performance at the 2023 combine. Heading into the final season of his rookie contract, Spears is at a turning point in his NFL career. Despite a decent rookie campaign behind Derrick Henry, he has barely broken 500 rushing and receiving yards combined each season since then. For those fantasy managers hoping Spears finally proves them right, there is a lot that needs to fall into place for him to finally have that breakout season.

Every fantasy football draft season creates the same villain. No, it’s not an injury. It’s not bad coaching. And it’s not even your leaguemate who autodrafts and somehow makes the playoffs every year. It’s rookie fever. Remember, we are talking redraft fantasy football here. Every summer, fantasy managers convince themselves that THIS rookie will be the next Saquon Barkley. Or THIS rookie will be the next Ja’Marr Chase.

For a long time, there was a consistent mantra that TEs take time to grow into the NFL game. Very few have started their careers with a bang. Not everyone can be Mike Ditka, Antonio Gates, Rob Gronkowski, or Travis Kelce. Some pop as pros in Year 2. Some take 3-5 years to really get going. And fantasy football managers are always after the next big thing.

Here we are again. Two years ago, in this very fantasy outlook series for the 2024 season, I wrote an article outlining that Brock Bowers was a value in fantasy football drafts and could even finish as the TE1 overall. Bowers went on to make me look very, very smart. Things did not go as well in Year 2. But, even after a disappointing second season, I am right back on the hype train.
