Long time no see Bluesky. Quick life update: today… 👎 I got rejected for adult disability payment (I’ll be appealing this decision) 30 minutes before… 👍 I found out that I was successful in a recent interview and will soon be beginning a full-time job! (More news on that soon.)

Your participation is requested for an upcoming research project exploring the implementation, reception, and importance of sensitivity reading in the UK publishing industry.

I'm looking to speak to professionals who:
• Have experience conducting sensitivity reads for authors, agents, or publishers within the UK publishing industry.
• Are willing and able to reflect critically on their role and the industry.

What's involved?
Participants will be required to partake in a 30-60 minute
online interview.
Your input will contribute to discussions on representation and authenticity in publishing and help shape a practical guide for publishers, authors, and
editors.

I really enjoy Dishsoap’s specificity in their submission suggestions! As a neurodivergent writer, I personally find this makes the submissions process feel less daunting and more like a fun creative prompt to follow. A very open and informative approach! 👏
