i love my crossoverslop. this is an unironic Friend Inside Me/woody theory x picayune dreams concept. say hello to cyl-006, andy (but his friends call him woody). Play picayune dreams

art of a picayune dreams oc; andy "woody" pride and his boss form, the sheriff. both have little writeups with character traits.
woody (oc) looks like woody (toy story) if he was just a normal dude. the sheriff looks more like a scary exaggerated puppet/toy of woody (toy story)

conceptual dialogue writeups between the sheriff and cyl. includes an interaction for the first encounter, a longer one that seems to be the second or third or so encounter, and two short ones that would show up when you've beaten him several times

a doodle of an aberrated portrait/design. his jaws are fucked up and seem to be stuck open in an awkward, unnatural position. a black substance leaks from his eyes and mouth.
the material that makes up his face has cracks running up and down it on one side. his portrait is heavily cast in shadow.

the "main eyes" are lit up, but there is also a glowing pair of eyes and teeth inside his mouth, implying there is more than one force at play here. this is backed up by his speech here which talks about "having a friend inside of him" and how freeing it is to relinquish control, an idea that was touched on in one of the earlier pieces of dialogue.

another doodle sits at the bottom showing that his overworld sprites would have aberrated "strings" like spamton NEO, and that he would move very freakishly and unnaturally. it seems he is more of a puppet than a toy now

just watched del toro's frankenstein; absolutely fantastic, but thought his design (before The Incident) could use some more "monstrousness"- especially with the narrative's focus on his appearance, and how he's treated for it realistic anatomy isn't really one of my strengths, but oh well lol

artwork depicting the monster (or "the creature") from del toro's frankenstein. his head is now more rectangular, his brow more pronounced, etc. it brings him closer to his more traditional appearance while- i'd hope- keeping the strengths of his design in del toro's film

ERAM fullbody design i did a while ago, still wearing the shadowmantle. heavily inspired by @/krisdpizza's ERAM gijinka!!!

my ERAM design. immediately it's noticeably stocky, and stands in a wide stance. the shadowmantle is loosely tied together as it hangs across their shoulders. it has a popped collar like a vampire, and it surrounds its head which pokes out of the top with a fanged grin. the head is essentially just the top of its sprite in-game.

atop a loose suit of fabric with its waist tied for security, it wears more detailed versions of kris' armour. the gauntlets in specific are noticeably clawed, and they + the boots help tie up the suit on the ends of the arms and legs.

the mantle is depicted like more of a cape than anything. it smoothly fans out to the sides, ending in a sharp spike-cut pattern at the bottom, vaguely resembling bat wings.

the design, but coloured. the inside of its cape and mouth are highlighted a vibrant orange, while everything else is pure black. the light of the cape casts a sharp silhouette of its body.
