TSFMaddy @cloveralters.spikefeeders.com · 16/09/2026If you get some student grade acrylics (like liquitex basics) I'd look for ones that say primary (like primary yellow) or cadmiums (like cadmium red) because they're the more true version of the colors when they're mixed with things like white. Stay away from "hues" because the pigmentation sucks! 030

I tried some P3 paints I picked up that were on sale, and they were really hard to blend with. It has a lot to do with the types of pigments used when they make those paints, it's really good for putting on as-is, but tough to mix. 130

I used Liquitex Basics when I started because it's much cheaper. I just use this brand now that I do this professionally. 120
