This is a Summer Girl kerosene stove that was also used to heat sad irons. The sad iron was a heavier version of the flat iron. I’m really into appliance history. The tech house wives is as interesting as auto history.

Google Maps has decided there’s a boat ramp in front of the Catholic Church. The reservoir is eight mi south of here. Maybe it’s a loaves and fishes thing?

They are already here. The Lemurians live in Mt Shasta. You can see them in town shopping for crystals and over at the dispensary. Not really sciency. They majored in English Lit.

A Korean super hero series. One of the most entertaining things I’ve seen this year. It has well done English dubbing if you don’t like subtitles. I listen in English and turn on Spanish subtitles. Good way to learn vocabulary and swearing.

This is one of the books the Feds have flagged for removal in National Parks. It’s a deep look at home California natives viewed the world over time I doubt the person who picked this as a banned book read it. It took me a month of slow reading because , golly, I had to think.
