(2/2) opening up and being vulnerable ;;_;;

Being honest for a sec...life has been rough...REALLY rough... I feel like I was finally picking up the pieces of my life at the end of last year, and yet, since January, I've had curveball after curveball thrown at me... I don't even play baseball!! send help!!!

Even though I'm super excited and want this desperately, my surgery date came at such short notice right after: months of unpaid caretaking of my grandma, $2k+ vet emergency, sole breadwinner for multiple people on my part time paycheck, sudden $1K of car repairs and expenses. So to say my savings are completely depleted is...well...yeah

I feel guilty asking again when I still have so much to catch up on, haven't drawn or posted much, and I work... But I have truly been pushed past my limits and can't do this alone. I'm mega burn out, stressed, anxious as hell but dammit I want to be positive!! I want to keep moving forward!!
Speaking of, I'm literally drawing this at the hospital as my grandma's health is rapidly declining (insert small stressed drawing) i'm so fine and normal (pained)

Despite all the difficulties I do genuinely feel like this will be a good thing. A great thing even! I've waited a decade for this and my current process took at least 4+ years... and now it's less than two weeks away! I will experience trans joy, orgullo mexicano, and finally begin the process of no longer simply surviving. I'm gonna start Living! <3

long time no post but I come with big news to share.... top surgery soon!! LIKE VERY SOON ????? (1/2)

drawing of the artist waving saying: Hi! If you don't know me, hello, I'm claude! For everyone else, hello, it's been a while! I come with some pretty big news to share...That's Rights...

I'm finally slated for Top Surgery August 24th which means it's time for the official Top Surgery + Recovery Fund

To be honest, I'm still not entirely sure what my percentage will be for the surgery (thanks American Healthcare system) since even two weeks out, I'm still receiving conflicting information...it's stressful as hell! but i'm not going down without a fight

Because of that, for now? My current goal is just asking for some help building up funds while i'm off work a couple weeks recovering

digs up these two while i'm rummaging through the vault (my folders) #soriku

a greyscale sketch drawing of sora (kingdom hearts) asleep with a soft smile on his face. His cheek laid on top of his crossed arms. A small dream-eater riku with wings, glowing akin to tinkerbell, whispers something in his ear.

sora and riku chat and stare at each other with empty word bubbles surrounding them. They both look fond (and in love)

it was for my cousin's bday and we were glad we got to go somewhere that wasn't just the hospital for the first time in weeks lmao.... very cute and I think it fit the birch aquarium in particular very well :>

the animal crossing character Gulliver washed up in an exhibit making it seem like he washed up on shore just like in the game

a close up picture of a giant snow crab seemingly looking directly at the camera from inside the tank

a "life size" blathers (from animal crossing) cut out posed with his wings open, pointing at one of the aquarium tanks

a picture of the giant tank exhibit showcasing a kelp forest full of local pacific ocean fish hiding among them. There's even a moray eel.

we had plans to see more of my family but it fell through because of the super storm and everyone being sick (wear your masks folks 😷) so I got to enjoy time with my son boy... wouldn't have it any other way
