I bought the game MakeRoom on sale and made the constellations!shadowpeach bathroom in it from #moonmist! It was so much fun to do. I'll make the other rooms and like. record myself so we can decorate the house together and talk about gay monkeys and lore 😌💕

A diorama of a bathroom made with the video game Make Room. The bathroom has light blue wallpaper and white tile. There's a large vanity sink with two mirrors above it. On the vanity, there are tons of make up items, lipstick, nail polish, and moisturizer and skin care products. There's even a handheld mirror and a blow dryer. In the center of the room is a bathtub with a table beside it holding a candle and soap. There are two rubber duckies on the rim of the bathtub, one orange and one purple for shadowpeach. There's also a shower to the left of the tub. There are shelves inside with bath soap and shampoo on them. Directly behind the bathtub is a white and blue linen closet. There's a storage cabinet to the left of the bathroom door that has towels, a lamp, and incense on it. To the left of the storage cabinet is a full length grey mirror.

There's a black rug under the bathtub. On the far right, there's a partition separating the toilet area from the vanity. There's a white cabinet above the toilet and a toilet paper holder on the right side of the toilet. On the left side is a small table with books on top. There's also a toilet scrubber and a toilet paper holder.

There are various paintings on the walls using simple images. One is a plain painting of a green leaf with a black frame. In the toilet area, there's a painting of a blue flower with no frame. On the partition separating the toilet area, there's another picture of two hands shaking with a white background. The frame is a dark purple.

A close up of the bathtub in the center of the room. The black rug can be seen as well as the 3-tiered table holding the soap and the candle. The bathtub also has a sponge and another bottle of soap resting elsewhere on the rim.

A close up of the toilet area. The toilet itself is white with a brown lid. The toilet paper holder is also brown. The cabinet above the toilet is white. And there's a small brown table with three books on top of it resting beside the toilet for light reading.

A close up of the messy vanity area. All over the sink top, there is: nail polish, make up brushes, bottles of various skin care products and lotions and creams, jars of mysterious stuff that Macaque has, a blow dryer, a handled mirror, more make up things like eyeshadow and blush. There's are orange and purple toothbrushes resting in a white cup with a tube of toothpaste next to it. There are also two sinks on the vanity, one for each monkey, and above the sinks on the wall are two black-framed mirrors. A blue rug is on the floor right in front of the vanity. There's also a black trash can on the side of the vanity.

Here's a piece of a #constellationsAU fic WIP about Wu and Mac having penetrative sex for the first time, which is Wu's favorite, and Wu gets so overwhelmed with happy feelings, he has to go take a walk to calm himself. Which does nothing in the end, but it’s the thought that counts

A short snippet of a fic where the premise is Wukong taking a walk after having penetrative sex with Macaque for the first time in Constellations AU. Wukong is overwhelmed with happy feelings and is trying to calm down. His tail won't stop wagging as he thinks about his night with Macaque.

He squeals and paces and is a general mess of embarrassment and happiness and he loves Macaque so much.

here's part two to this! this is called #definitionAU and I don't want it to become a thing but watch it become a thing. just like every other AU I have 🙄

A picture of a word document with text describing Wukong standing on the beach contemplating. It's mating season, and he hasn't taken a new mate, therefore, his heart still years for Macaque now that he's returned to life. Wukong is still on bad terms with Macaque due to their troubled past and doesn't want to talk with him about mating season, so he reasons that he should do a little breaking and entering into Macaque's house to steal an article of clothing to help him get through mating season. That way, he won't have to have direct contact with Macaque.

Before he sets off to enact this plan, Macaque appears and startles him.

Macaque explains that he's on Flower Fruit Mountain because it's mating season, and his instincts have pushed him to go find Wukong. Macaque and Wukong were mates in the past, and Wukong is surprised to find that their bond persists through Macaque's death.

For couples who have broken up, the bond doesn't truly break between them until they find another mate. And so, ex-couples usually amicably trade pieces of clothing to help each other get through the season. It is a flawed system, Wukong knows, but he can't fight nature.

So, now Wukong understands why Macaque is here. Macaque asks Wukong where he was about to go. Wukong tells him it's "none of his business." Macaque rolls his eyes and says that he'll leave Wukong alone for the week, but he needs to stay on the mountain and just be in Wukong's territory to help with the annoying pangs of yearning from the season.

Wukong tells him that he's aware of how it works. Then then settle into awkward silence. Wukong wonders if Macaque is waiting to be given an article of clothing, but Wukong is reluctant to do that. However, if giving something up would help get Macaque out of his face, Wukong would do so.

Macaque asks Wukong if he feels the same yearning pangs that Macaque does. Wukong gets angry and doesn't answer. He's in denial and admits to himself that, since he can smell Macaque's scent on the breeze, it's taking all his self-control to not embrace Macaque and inhale his scent. He remarks that Macaque's cape would be like catnip to him right now.

Still, Wukong pretends that he's fine. This upsets Macaque and he says, "Maybe those instincts died off once you stabbed me in the eye. There's no coming back from that, is there?"

Wukong thinks that is a very bold thing to say and gets even angrier. He gets in Macaque's face and replies, "You know, I'm surprised you have any other instincts besides the one that's constantly telling you to run like a coward at the slightest hint of danger."

Wukong moves into Macaque's person space and removes his illusions, showing his fire red and gold eyes to intimidate Macaque and scare him. Wukong says, "Must not be working, either, cause you sure as shit wouldn't be here if it was."

Macaque is shaken by those words, but stands his ground. Wukong backs off after having put Macaque in his place.

Wukong tells Macaque he can stay, but he needs to stay out of Wukong's way. Macaque says that's what he already planned on doing.

Wukong agrees with that and turns his back on Macaque in a sign of disrespect since their mid-conversation. He summons a cloud and hops onto it. He doesn't want to talk to Macaque for the rest of the season, but he considers that Macaque might seek him out to ask for something covered in his scent to bring him comfort during the week.

Wukong takes off his scarf and debates giving it to Macaque; it's the only scarf Wukong has left after his home was destroyed during the fight with Azure Lion. He reasons that he can knit another scarf and tosses it to Macaque, saying that the scarf should be enough to get him through the week.

Macaque asks if Wukong wants something of his in return, and Wukong lies and says he doesn't need it. He flies away on his cloud, suffering through the pains of not being on his mate. He chooses to suffer by himself instead of asking for something from Macaque or working with him to make the season easier for both of them.

Wukong tells himself he'd much rather suffer than confront the past.

i don't have blusky scheduler set up yet, so here ya go. I was just doing a warm up/brain exercise and wrote some s4 canon divergent #shadowpeach yes, i made a backstory that incorporates the mountain scene, but this is just the premise: It's mating season, Mac's alive, shenanigans ensue

A WIP of fanfiction describing summer and how it falls prettily on Flower Fruit Mountain. It's a festive time of year, perfect for parties and banquets and such. Summer is also the season of love, or, the mating season.

It then describes Wukong's monkey family on the mountain preparing for the season. They celebrate anniversaries, unions, and schedule feasts. Wukong manages all of this and doesn't directly participate in the season by choice. His family shows concern for his lack of deep connection with another person (or persons) but Wukong changes the subject before it can get too deep.

He tells himself that he doesn't need romance to survive and has plenty of platonic friendships to offer that connection. He is also enlightened, and has seen the truth of the universe, which should also be a comfort. But the spark and excitement for others hasn't returned to him despite that.

Wukong is in denial about why he feels more apathetic about the season nowadays. He used to think the season was charming and enjoyed it immensely, it's not the same now. He wonders if this is due to old age or something else, but he also knows deep down in his heart that isn't what's bothering him.

He misses taking part in mating season.

He never would've admitted that to himself if not for a big change in his usual routine. This mating season, Macaque is alive, and Wukong must confront his past mistakes and face his trauma to unpack all of that.

here's another sneak peak. these monkeys are so gay and inseparable, they've decided to go on a trip. just by themselves. like a honeymoon??? nooo, surely not. that is not at all what's happening, nope. #constellationsAU #MoonMist

Macaque and Wukong sitting in the bathtub together discussing a trip. They decide to take one together since Macaque's curse is gone. He has things to take care of, and he implies that them going together is the only option. Wukong enthusiastically agrees to go on this trip and imagines it being like back-to-back dates. It may or may not be like that, who knows.

okay here's #BlackCandlesAU backstory for Mac. I just spoiled his whole deal but i wanted to talk about it because he's got a lot of shit going on. a lot of baggage. and he definitely needs someone in his life like Wukong to help him express himself and enjoy happiness And then they get MARRIED 🎊💕

Backstory for Macaque in the Black Candles AU. It details how Macaque has been running the Diyu for about 5,000 years or more and he's overseeing everything and using a lot of power. He's got eyes and ears everywhere. Macaque obtained the power of the Ten Kings by basically leading an uprising to usurp them. He fought with other powerful demons on Flower Fruit Mountain, but unfortunately, not many of them survived. Macaque survived because he is a celestial primate, something he doesn't lean until he's absorbed the power of the Ten Kings. But because of this, Macaque is very guilty because he feels like he led his friends to their deaths.

Macaque also has demons in his employ, like the Lady Bone Demon, to help him with the Diyu, but she sucks because she's got her own plans going on that Macaque already knows about, but she doesn't know that he knows about them, so she's just kinda annoying to deal with to be honest.

more #BlackCandlesAU because I love it so. Wukong would definitely get into mischief and make Macaque's life hell (LMFAO) by just being curious and meeting people. But! Macaque also observes that Wukong brings a joy and excitement to people that wasn't there before...he's a bright ball of sunshine

Talking about Black Candles AU again and how Wukong would cause mischief in the Diyu while going around meeting other characters like DBK, Princess Iron Fan, LBD and others. Savage and Rumble and Bai He basically give him a tour of the Diyu and leave a mess of things in their wake. But they're having fun and laughing and Macaque pays special attention to that.

Macaque is also questioning Wukong's origin because Macaque knows nothing about him and he's the King of the Diyu, so he SHOULD know. And Wukong's curious as to how Macaque became the king anyway. There used to be Ten Kings and now there's just one. What's going on???

There is #shadowpeach in that Macaque has never seen anyone like Wukong before, and he's VERY intrigued. So he ends up keeping Wukong with him LMFAO. And hi-jinks ensue. I wrote an (incomplete) fic for it and plan to add more maybe. If not, i'll just post ab it archiveofourown.org/works/660730...

So let's talk #BlackCandlesAU Black Candles AU is a universe in which JTTW did not happen, but the setting of that book and the LMK characters are still here. The magic system is also the same as in #constellationsAU Macaque is the King of the Diyu and Wukong is an emissary of the Jade Emperor.

An LMK AU where Macaque is the King of the Diyu and Wukong is an emissary of the Jade Emperor sent to give the King a package. Macaque takes an interest in Wukong and basically keeps Wukong prisoner to satiate his own interests. Wukong spends his time getting to know Bai He, Savage, Rumble, and the other denizens of the Diyu and gradually warms up to them.
