Closedown @closedown-oh.bsky.social · 04/12/2025Where are the screamo/post hardcore bands at on this thing? Let's connect! 010
Closedown @closedown-oh.bsky.social · 23/11/2025Been a minute since we've logged in here. Wanted to let y'all know we're playing at dirty dungarees in Columbus November 30th with theyhungusfrompowerlines, middling, cats eat dogs, starsfadingoutquietly, and kaiba! $5 or a nonperishable food item for this ridiculous banger. It's Lacey Jade's bday! 021
Closedown @closedown-oh.bsky.social · 11/02/2025So glad we got to play with them. It's like what if Pavement was somehow sorta country, but also a hardcore band. 110
Closedown @closedown-oh.bsky.social · 07/02/2025And likewise, those who have experienced intergenerational trauma, it isn't our fault, but it is our responsibility to heal from it and not perpetuate it. And it isn't the excuse for how we treat others or ourselves, even if it is "the source". 010
Closedown @closedown-oh.bsky.social · 07/02/2025This comes up a lot in the work I do as a batterers intervention coordinator. I don't think all hurt people hurt people, but those who cause harm can't heal themselves or others until they acknowledge the harm they carry and the harm they cause. Someone has to break the cycle. 100

Fans of Daniel Striped Tiger, L'antietam, & Llewelyn will love it. The band features members of Lowmeninyellowcoats, CityCop, Griphook, Vita Bassa, Backtalk, Glass Bones and Quitr to boot. Closedown @closedown-oh.bsky.social · 29/01/2025This album is so incredibly haunting and beautiful! I feel like it got overlooked a bit because Sunbather was such a force. 020
Closedown @closedown-oh.bsky.social · 28/01/2025 More of this energy in 2025. Cleveland Art Workers know what's up. Let's also work on some venue transparency with "fees". A presale ticket of $15 comes out to $30 and day of ends up being $25 plus an atm fee bc they didn't advertise cash only. Where is the incentive, where is the integrity? 021

There is catharsis in shared experience. if loud guitar music interests you, you will find that with us & our friends. We love you. Stay safe and be well. 132
Closedown @closedown-oh.bsky.social · 16/01/2025First post. We're closedown, a Cleveland Post hardcore band (more like the weirdo 90s way than the modern way). We like yelling about feeling bad so we don't have to feel bad anymore. We don't know how to use this site yet, but we're trying to unzuck our life a bit. We love you! 010
