I'm currently away from home seeing family, so we won't be filming the next Dandy's World update until October 4th or 5th when I get back. but I'm still writing my Dandy'a World fan story if anyone's interested in that :) #dandysworld #roblox #robloxdandysworld #dandysworldroblox

If I ever play Dragon Quest 1 (aka Dragon Warrior) on the channel, I'm probably just going to make notes and just do the LP on my second or third playthrough. In all the time I could spend level grinding in DQ1, I could be beating even more games. #dragonquest #dragonwarrior

I think many people came to BlueSky because they quit Twitter. And I can see why, Twitter takes forever to load.

@peneloperabbit.bsky.social Hey there, it's been a while since we talked. I'm the one who was writing that Dandy's World story, and I'm still interested in comsioning you, if you are. (I'm trying not to trigger scammers and bots.)

@kimmartss.bsky.social Here's the mockup of Celes T.. Some people criticized her for the colors being a bit of an eyesore, which I'd like to fix. (But her mushroom colors are to remain the same.)

@chuggaaconroy.bsky.social Hey Emile, is it possible I could show you something I started working on? I'm as much of a Paper Mario nut as you, and for a while I've had ideas for a fanwork based on the Paper Mario series, and I've started writing the first story just a teeny bit.

Anyone else notice how some sounds in Wario Land 1 sound almost identical to sounds in Metroid 2? The pause sound sounds almost the same. And damaging a boss sounds like damaging a metroid.

Recently I got this in the mail today. Came out the same year as Super Mario Land, 1989. It's a neat little puzzle game in the style of Eggerland/Adventure of Lolo. Also this sunglasses dude looks like some guy called Spot, who I have on NES. #kwirk #kwirkgameboy #gameboy

Well since I'm logged in on my phone, I'll still post on this account. You know, I forgot how many little mechanics there were in Mario Land 2. You can spin like in Mario World, and I like how having a total coin count carried over to Wario Land. #supermarioland2 #supermarioland6goldencoins

I love how the way this ice generated looks like it's actually floating on the water, just like real icebergs. Really clever design on the devs' parts. I love the new terrain generation in Minecraft, it's just so beautiful. Who knew a world of blocks could have such breathtaking scenery. #minecraft

Not gonna lie I was pretty disappointed when I played those three Supercharger games. After playing Phaser, Mindmaster, and Dragonstomper, I was kind of expecting the supercharger games to not be just arcade style games. Though, I guess it was still when video games were still new, so... #atari

Got this in the mail today. I aim to try to get all of the (reasonably priced) games for the supercharger. I also like how the tapes are different colors. This is blue, Phaser Patrol was green, and Dragonstomper was yellow. #atari #starpathsupercharger #escapefromthemindmaster #atari2600

I've been playing a lot of Atari 2600 lately, and I think it and the NES are my two new favorite gaming platforms, because I love seeing what the developers can do for their games with the limitations of the hardware. The Nintendo 64 is in that ballpark too since it was an early 3D console.

In Startropics, Mike's death sprite kinda looks like a sad angel pose. But in Startropics 2 he looks like he's facepalming, like he's thinking "Really? You died to THAT?" or "You really couldn't make that jump?" #startropics #nes #startropicsnes #zodasrevenge #startropics2 #startropicsII

I recently beat Conker's Pocket Tales on Gameboy. Ngl, I think the ending was a bit anticlimatic, because you don't fight the Evil Acorn. It felt like the game was building up to you fighting him, yet you don't fight him at the end of the Catacombs. #conker #conkerspockettales

Last night I beat Duke Nukem 1, and gave DN2 a look. Ngl, I was expecting 2 to reuse assets from 1, but going from 1 to 2 is pretty big whiplash. I looked up 2's release date, and it came out only 4 months after Bio Menace. I can assume that game influenced DN2, so I'm gonna play Bio Menace first.
