That trailer was so gay fr fr! Like, please get a room, goodness gracious. And then you come along with the focafuri oh boy, and it fits so well!! Guess I just have to pull for her and see if I'm lucky. Damn you, hoyo, exploiting my weakness again and again!

Sounds like potentially a dangerous cycle. If it's a response to mental anguish that can cause so much, it's probably very easy to spiral out of control. Unless that's where the crazy willpower comes in? Or Focalors? That twisted mix between justice and vengeance needs to be seen through after all.

120

That looks terrifyingly painful. Especially if the anguish isn't just of a physical nature, but also mental..

Yeah, I did. And then proceeded to get the grumpy little Christmas Arle. Oof no update at all? That's a long time for nothing to happen.. it better arrive soon then!!! Praying for your package 🙏

Oh god, honestly where is the 48h day? So many games, so little time

I'm always happy when I can pick a unmanned station to pick stuff up from, cause I tend to never be home when they try to deliver and then I have to go all over the city to get my stuff. I really hope your byun merch arrives soon! Is the tracking still updating? Fingers crossed!

It was a classic case of the deliverer doing something, but not properly recording it so nobody could tell me where my package went... oh well, one day plush Arle will be mine! But truly lost packages are always my biggest worry whenever I order something. You never know what could happen.

Uhm excuse me whaaaat Does this mean I have to play this game now???

Even the kit??? Oh, you're truly going all in. I love it when a scenario just keeps going and develops a life of its own. And it's always fun to think stuff about it up. It's like your own little fun worlds to daydream about.

I live off of angst. It's nice to see your fav characters in fluffy scenarios, but the right amount of angst can be very delicious. Arlecchino is clearly the honorable playable delusion harbinger. She'd probably break the game though, too.

I ordered one way back in November. It's lost cause postal services fucked up and didn't process it correctly. It wasn't meant to be.. That's pretty cool that they don't just pick one teacup design and put different kinds of paints on it. Let's see how long it'll take 😁

Honestly, the angst potential of this au is completely through the roof, even more so than canon. I love it. Maybe someday, they will finally let us have nice things... If Furina doesn't define the meta, then she isn't playable out of fear of completely breaking the game.

They look so good together! Now they can have little tea parties! I finally caved the other day and just ordered it with a bunch of smaller stuff to make it worth it.

Haha, please always keep a safe distance. It's for your own health. How to make the women of Fontaine swoon even more. They'd be done for in that case. I always see the constellations as like a mastery over their vision that comes with time. I feel like the base potential is limitless beyond that.

Omg, you're even doing potential voicelines?! That's so cool! And it hurts so good

Just imagined Furina freezing parts of their body so they won't melt and dissolve... Getting depressed before bed, yay. Imagine hoyo would release playable delusion harbingers. That would go so hard. And Furina defining the meta is just a classic move, let's be real.

That would be such a huge gift. That control, especially if Furina's body is so unstable and volatile, would probably be the best thing that could happen to Furina. It would be invaluable. Cryo Furina would be such a menace gameplaywise. Just imagine the constant freezing. It'd be such a pain.

Ooh Pyro! You've clearly put a lot of thought into it. I guess Pyro would be the right tool to fuel Furina's vengeance and fill that void within her. Even if it's not a true solution and it just eats away at that void in a different way. Thankfully, Furina will run into Arle. That'd be a better fix.

Any roleswap au is a win, but this one is especially enjoyable. There is such a rich dynamic between Egeria, Focalors and Furina to be explored. I love the themes you've picked. Love is just as much what defines Furina, as justice and willpower are. Kinda unrelated, but what delusion would she have?

Oh wow you've been feeding me well with your cooking today! This is just such an interesting perspective on the usual story. It's so much more than just a rolereversal. This image of Furina just venting and coming to terms with the tragedy of the past... There is so much potential here. I love it!

Clrv is always a win! Plus, they tend to already be established most of the time, so they always have good advice for Furina. Or can give her the little push she needs. Ohoho, really looking forward to the next chapter now. I know you won't disappoint 😁

I would absolutely devour an 100k words story in this au. Just full on rewrite of the aq, haha. But enjoying these headcanons and visuals is just as much fun!

That sounds so cool! I love how this might as well be a weekly boss for real. Love how it's basically therapy for Furina. Beating the traveler for catharsis and then just dropping them once that's done and Furina can't be bothered with them anymore. The visual of this 'spirit' Focalors is so cool!

Whatever this is

I feel like this one could fit quite well. I can totally see a descend into despair and madness and the fight just getting more and more unpredictable as it goes on.

The best kind of therapy. Have you listened to any of the fanmade Furina boss fight compositions? They are really amazing.

Chomk @chomkcatto.bsky.social · 02/02/2025

Now that is some raw pain. Traveler deserves being ripped a new one, especially by any version of Furina.

Let's be real, we probably couldn't handle Furina on that level. Just imagine some point down the line when she's learned all she can from Clorinde and is super confident in her sword skills. God help whoever has to face her then.

Thank you! Just thought to give it a try since it's way less risk than in Genshin, but that was kinda spooky. Let's hope so for real. She had been quite the tease during her last banner. Maybe it's all about the correct wishing location...

I'm assuming the next chapter is going to be Arle's birthday, then? Really curious to see how the dessert will turn out and what else Furina will have in store for her. Anyways, I loved the chapter! Thank you for writing it. The story is amazing from start to finish!

I loved it! It's always great when relationships outside of the main one are explored. Just makes it all feel more realistic. Navia and Clorinde are a great addition. Love how supportive they are while still reeling Furina in so she doesn't overdo it again. Those are the best kinds of friends.
