Just received my @bitmapbooks.com latest book focused on the arcades. As a child of the 80s and 90s, growing up on arcade machines, this book looks amazing. Great imagery and write ups. Can't wait to delve in more. Good stuff!

That's a shame. If I didn't get any London tickets, then I wouldn't have tried for anywhere else in the UK.

It was a struggle and a battle but I managed to snag tickets for the Zelda 40th Symphony Orchestra in London! I was fortunate enough to attend the 25th Anniversary as well. Naturally gonna take my 3DS and hopefully claim some Street Passes from like minded cultured gamers! Heh! Excited.

It's odd how Microsoft originally outbid Activision to buy Rare from Nintendo. Now Microsoft has bought Activision and has given Rare to Activision to manage. You can't make this time line up.

New delivery. Very much looking forward to this. As someone who grew up on 80s Anime/Manga, this looks right up my street. Visually I think it's one of the best games I've seen based on trailers. #Orbitals #Switch2

I had to tell my youngest to turn the TV down as I recorded my reaction last night. My PC desk is in the living room & it was only 7pm. Sometimes you just got to hit record and hope no distractions happen heh. I'm never a huge fan of making reaction videos, but it's Nintendo so I'll always be there.

Clocked It! @clocked-it.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

Hard work making reactions when you have to work & go home to be a family man! (Yes that was a Street Fighter reference heh!). Nintendo Direct reaction is up, sorry for the slight mic issues. But if you know me, there was one game that sealed the deal! #MetroidRavenous #Switch2 youtu.be/rTszBHPj7a0

Surely a million reactions out there, but I'll add my own. Bit of a rushed video as I'm time starved, but I think the game looks incredible. And as we all know, 1998 was the best year in gaming for many reasons, Ocarina being a major part of it! #OcarinaofTime #NintendoDirect youtu.be/7ZCU7LykvOk

2026 has been trash. Crom speed #TimCurry! An absolute legend in my books and a character unlike any other. Just too many classic roles and moments. A truly sad day for the UK and the world.

Clocked It! @clocked-it.bsky.social · 24/08/2026

I bought FFX on release. Was so hyped, got so far and then dropped the game at a certain point because every character was doing my head in heh. I'd say in the last few years I've been tempted to retry it, which I probably will at some point.

110

Clocked It! @clocked-it.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

Took a couple of months as a side game, but I finally replayed FF9 on my PS1, a game I haven't completed again since it came out. Opinion hasn't changed on it. Fantastic game & for me, arguably Square's last truly great mainline FF. Good stuff, enjoyed that. Perhaps I need to give FF10 another go.

Clocked It! @clocked-it.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

Heh! Cheers my dude. Aye, been a while since I fired AC up, but I always remember at this time of year. 45! Who would have thought it. I'll keep an eye out for your birthday!

110

Clocked It! @clocked-it.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

Well, I've levelled up to 45 today. Woke up with my shoulders aching, so definitely feel it heh. Got my usual awesome cards off my kids and took the customary Wii-U & Animal Crossing birthday screenshots. Also started my two weeks of annual leave. Here's hoping for a nice relaxing day to start them.

Clocked It! @clocked-it.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

The first game toughened up my fear of the deep black horror abyss of the ocean heh! Saying that, it still gets me and this game is just as bad at times.

Clocked It! @clocked-it.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

I've just got through the early access content of #Subnautica2. I have nearly 350 hours in the first game & what's here with the sequel so far is fantasic, a big improvement on the somewhat limp Below Zero expansion. I'll wait a long while now for some good updates before I jump back in. Good stuff!

Clocked It! @clocked-it.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

I've played every #Splatoon game so far and can't stop now. My latest pick up and I'm looking forward to playing it. I enjoy Salmon run and I thought Splatoon 3 single player was the best one so far, so I'm hoping this has the best of both worlds.

One of my favourite games on the DC. Visually stunning with an OST from the gods. Sure it's difficult, sure the controls need some mastery, but man, I'll never forget first seeing the Hanging Waters level. Game is a wonder just like the original. Amazing.

010

Clocked It! @clocked-it.bsky.social · 04/08/2026

For sure! I consider it one of those potential top 10 Megadrive games for us UK players, as it was something most of us played back then. The Indiana Jones influence is clearly high, but that was Disney back then, something I miss. Great game, one of my faves.

110

Clocked It! @clocked-it.bsky.social · 03/08/2026

Cheers dude. The music in Dark Wizard sounds great and it actually looks like a decent strategy game.

Ha! A price we'll never see again, but yeah.

010

Clocked It! @clocked-it.bsky.social · 02/08/2026

Aye it's a good game. It can suffer from that Atlus long dungeon fatigue and difficulty spikes thing they seem to have, but overall, once it got its claws in me I was hooked. At least I'm getting some use out of this wack PS5 I bought heh.

Just clocked #MetaphorReFantazio! About 85 hours on the clock. Really enjoyed it. Great story, characters & an interesting soundtrack. Battle system & game overall was pretty much Persona, but less busy work I feel. Last boss was a pain/slog but aside from that, an overall positive experience.

Crom speed Sam Neill. A truly fantastic actor, who for many of us, helped us to fall in love with Dinosaurs all over again. Truly a lasting cinematic legacy and someone who seemed like a great human being.

Picked up #StarFox which arrived yesterday. Done my first run last night. A very familiar yet different game to Lylat Wars, in both positive and personal negative ways. But overall a fantastic remake which I'll be playing repeatedly. Love the new vocals to the OST as well. Graphically viewtiful.

Heh nice Martin! Crom has granted us gaming glory today. Rest up brother and play some Sega. I've been playing through PSO single player on DC at the moment. The urge came about and 15 hours of game time later I'm still loving it.

Clocked It! @clocked-it.bsky.social · 12/06/2026

I'm conflicted. Based on what we've seen, I don't believe Nintendo are developing it, based on the art style. Looks very western. But we've seen so little we'll just have to wait. It's odd how unexcited I feel. That could be my current industry gaming mood, or how it was revealed. We'll see.

Heh I purely meant that in terms of her interviews and mannerisms, when compared to previous Xbox heads. But ultimately this changes nothing with my stance towards Microsoft's/Xbox's ultimate intentions, regardless of how sugarcoated they might come across. They've been the same since day one.

Just me defending the UK Saturn library as usual. All systems that generation had must play games, the UK Saturn was no different. Clocked the first #LegendOfGrimrock. Not gonna lie, needed to check on at least two major puzzles, as this game can be quite obscure at times. But I love a good 1st person dungeon crawler and this one was pretty good. I'll complete the sequel at some point. 7 out of 10 me thinks, solid.

Just clocked #Cyberpunk2077 on #Switch2 & loved it. Whatever this game was at launch is a thing of the past. Done every quest on the map + the Phantom Liberty DLC. Fast travelled less than five times as well, because I loved the city so much. Night City...what a place. Also, Judy 4 life heh!

Clocked It! @clocked-it.bsky.social · 27/02/2026

Heh! I'm refusing to buy any new games until I've worked my way through some of my backlog. I've completed Stray on PS5, this game now on PC, so will probably move back to Cyberpunk which I bought when it came out on Switch 2. Resi 9 is looking nice though.
