In the end Labour came fourth and Martin Wrigley won the seat for the Liberal Democrats. 110

The Conservative result (falling to sixth, losing three-quarters of their vote share), is in part due to the by-election being caused by the previous Conservative councillor having been jailed for fraud & embezzlement! 020

Martin is calling on government to help fund the clean up at Teignmouth and if there is any help that can be given to restore the Pier, notwithstanding it being privately owned. 011
