It’s a no from me. If genAI isn’t canned from the get go there will be no artists for there to even BE a Union. Unless they can secure this TAG is going to make themselves obsolete. Staffing minimums & protections for remote workers. #animationguild #tag

So... They can require you to use AI in production, they are required to provide you legal defense if anything happens because of it, and you have to cooperate with that defense. This entire section is very producer-sided and I don't see anything protecting the intellectual property of creators.

Don Perro work tirelessly to make animation accessible to so many Canadian kids, for whom art was but a pipe dream. He was always kind but would push you to do better. I can’t thank him nearly enough for all that he did, and it’s heartbreaking that we’ve lost him. 💔💔💔
