Rudolf Escher saw his Sonata concertante as an artistic reply to war and oppression, but found his own hearing unable to fully catch the sounds he analyzed. Escher kept only this piece, which ends with a strange, low note that isn’t a half or quarter tone—just a unique sound. For VPROgids.

The joke of ridiculing non-cis white men or trans people by using a high pitched voice to implicate the one being not the norm to be less male. The phone horn being a phallic symbol in this context, as a call to what we perceive as being manhood and the silly hanging sack being tickled.
