Being it is Monday and politics is still not the only thing happening in the world I thought I would share what we did last night. The wife won tickets to see The Fantastic Negrito. He and the band put on a hell of a show. He shares a lot of pain from his earlier life. Great to see him succeed.

#CDFriday pick number 2. Pretty self explanatory.

#CDFriday pick number one. Just a tad obscure. Hollow Bamboo featuring Ronu Majumdar-Bansuri , Ry Cooder and Jon Hassell

I am NOT a real man. All I have is a couch potato.

This little gem managed to survive our freeze in December as a caterpillar. When the cat got large enough we brought it indoors so it could pupate in safety. It “hatched” this afternoon. If the weather cooperates it will be released tomorrow.

Happy #CDFriday cd fans. For my first trick today I present a new addition to the music library This a Japanese issue SACD of Donald Fagen’s gorgeous album The Nightfly. So completely different than Morph The Cat.

Now playing Warner Records (Japan) SACD version of Rumors by Fleetwood Mac. The additional depth and detail you can hear in the music and vocals is gorgeous.

Late #CDFriday entry. Just got this Tracy Chapman cd. One of her less well known releases.

This is your #CDfriday trick question. Can anyone identify the band this cd belongs to? Hint: the name starts with a G.

This gorgeous pipe organ belongs to the Cal Poly SLO performing arts center. I have not heard it yet but really would love to.

Sometimes they attach to wax paper we are using for lids for the jars. Those have to be removed from the paper so we can access and clean the jars. So my wife very delicately ties dental floss to the silk and attaches the cats to a small branch or even a house plant. This one will pupate soon.
