We tried the new Whittaker's Gum drop block last night. The light green colour chocolate is slightly off putting, but it does taste very similar to goody gum drops ice-cream (IMHO) if that's your thing.

In mildly scandalous news, it seems Biosecurity NZ opened my small parcel of tiny buttons and doll eyes. I wonder if it was picked at random for a check or if it was scanned and flagged as concerning? 🤔😆 #NZ

Over Easter weekend I went to Kawau Island to help with a weka count (the bird pictured below). The weather was rubbish so the ferry over was a bit bumpy. This also meant there weren't many visitors around Mansion House, so we pretty much had the area to ourselves. #NZ #KawauIsland

As seen in the Easter section at The Warehouse - how the heck do you drink out of this 1. Comfortably 2. Without it spilling your drink? This seems like an obvious design failure.
