#AT40 gang. Just missed you and Casey. Staying busy in Spain and loving it all. I found the "museum of ham" in Madrid and was rather thrilled. Also very moved by La Sagrada Família en Barcelona 😍. Hope all is well!

End of summer 74, at Fantasy Island Amusement Park with bro, SIL, and nieces. Shirt from the relatively new and still incomplete Disney World visited earlier that spring. I am preparing to go from Catholic school with 80 kids in my grade, into the public school with 450 in my class. 😬. #AT40

Happy Heavenly Birthday to my late big brother. His love of music filtered down to me. I remember sitting by this Admiral hi-fi with him and playing A and B sides of 45's: The Banana Boat song, Ricky Nelson, Elvis, Petula Clark. Here he is before I came along, listening to a favorite song. 💓 #AT40

Went with my parents to a biz conference in Bermuda, maybe 1975-76 or so. Frankie was in our hotel with his 8 kids. I palled around with them in the game room. Mom wanted me to pose with him for a pic, but I was too embarrassed. I remember "Venus" as his hit, oh and Beauty School Dropout! #AT40

#AT40 Saw Santana rock Red Rocks last night, a lifelong goal of mine. BIG energy. "Moonflower" was my fave. His wife Cindy was on drums, age 66, playing non-stop at ALTITUDE! I am her age and was as usual whining about all the Red Rocks stairs. His son Salvador in the band, too. Long Live Carlos!

#AT40 Aug 1977 I was working in the kitchen at camp, my first job, the summer between junior and senior years of HS. I am sure these songs would have been played on the top 40 radio we listened to constantly, or my fellow counselors' 8-tracks. Looking forward to the memories! Happy Saturday!

#AT40 I can't hang around much this evening, but this would've been the end of seventh grade. When Maxi dresses ruled the day. My mother later shortened my maxi dress so I could wear it as a mini for my eighth grade graduation the next year. Hope everyone is doing well!

for a junk drawer to legally qualify as a real junk drawer, what is the ONE absolute mandatory item it must include? Why, a rubber band ball of course.

We had to sit close to the TV because the "vertical hold" on the B&W Zenith was wonky and you had to fix it a bunch of times while watching. My brother's job.

Good day #AT40 friends. Summer 1978 post HS graduation. Working at camp, pondering college around the corner. Celebrating my 18th birthday 8/5. Here I am at 17 at a HS grad party with my prom date. Double stacked Foster's lager cans. Now I'm off to the farmers market while it's still cool outside.

We are losing our minds here in the front range of Colorado. It's been like 95 or 100° for two weeks and there's more to come. Some of us don't have AC because we've never really needed it and that is changing. Heat pump and mini splits are coming to my house! #HeatDome

#AT40 Could it be magic? Not so much. Me at 14 and my date to the HS Freshman Farewell dance, June 1975. Talk about awkward. I drank a half a can of beer that night and that made the evening quite fun, actually. Went to a party where the parents bought beer and "supervised".

#AT40 July 1971 - summer before 6th grade. At our cabin, posed (right, with knee socks) on the foundation for our porch. We crammed people into one room, used an outhouse, and lugged water, but grew tired of it and began expanding and adding running water. Walking now before the heat, be back soon!
