Although, this does not mean that the average reader will not be able to appreciate it and gain something from this book - I certainly have gained a lot.

I would say that it is perhaps a better resource for mental health providers/professionals than for the average person looking for a self-help book to work through mental health struggles themselves at home.

It is incredibly ironic that I hate mint and yet peppermint tablets and peppermint tea is what will help me medically and so I must use peppermint multiple times a day forevermore.... maybe I will grow to like it eventually??? ugh

I only started using half stars last year. Before that I only used the goodreads ratings as well. It was when I started reviewing more often that I decided a better more outlined breakdown might be helpful to follow

I also tend to not rate things that just weren't for me. Unless there is a very good reason for DNFing, I just don't rate at all. So my rating average each year never reflects what I've actually read because I very rarely actually give 1/1.5 stars aha. I agree that that is the best way to do it!
