Grizelda which is a female given name of Germanic origin means "gray battle maid", which is where the name Zelda comes from. Well she was definitely grizzly looking when I got her, and had been through on hell of a battle, so Zelda it is. Which means I will absolutely be calling her princess.

Turns out a shelter kind of close to me had a 2 year old female Old English Sheepdog. Who now has a forever home! No name - several matted, and nothing but love. She’s decompressing, and safe. Getting some much needed love.

Pretty happy with the flower-of-the-week display I put up. Today’s the last day for it and it’s been nice seeing all the orange and yellow flowers. Sort a goodbye summer hello fall vibe going on.
