When I used to hear the ticking timepiece for the show “60 Minutes” I used to think here comes some top journalism. Now when I hear the ticking timepiece I will think here comes the ticking time bomb of crap journalism. Not sure if I ever will hear it again as I don’t plan on watching CBS anymore.

I haven’t done it in many years but just now I did it when pouring a tasty beverage. When you are about half way done drinking or pouring from a 12 ounce aluminum can tilt the can on its side on a flat surface. In no time it will balance. Try it and show your results of the can balancing act.

“This Is A Gardening Show” with Zach Galifianakis on Netflix is a great break from the norm - sometimes very funny and informational. As one who has gardened much of my life I got a lot from the show. Looking forward to next season.

This morning I saw the movie “Pressure” and it was very good but I wanted this post to be about the small soft drink that was part of my order at the Cinemark movie theater. This small size drink is 16 ounces or two cups (that is 1/8 of a gallon). It was $5.70. I thought gas prices were ridiculous.

I saw the Andrew Scott/Brendan Fraser movie “Pressure” this morning. It is the true story of the happenings around D-Day in 1944. With the cast I knew I had to see it in theaters. I’ve liked Brendan Fraser since “Encino Man” and Andrew Scott since “Sherlock”. I highly recommend it.

I just finished the 8 episode Netflix series “The Boroughs”. I enjoyed the tale of seniors taking care of creepy business. I would definitely recommend.
