The thing is… the MicroMaker (the machine that shrunk Ollie) was a very rudimentary shrinking ray that worked by destroying atoms in Ollie’s body, unlike newer models that simply shrink matter… That means there is really nothing left to grow back… So Ollie is kinda stuck like that

Their screams are barely inaudible unless you get very close to Polo’s belly, and that’s not an area Ollie frequently visits. Besides Polo is quite mindful and very rarely he’d eat micros in front of Ollie or hold him over his belly when they’re digesting.
