In about five months time, I need you to remember that @manmademoon.bsky.social ‘Rogue Trooper’ is great. Fun. Funny. Looks fantastic. It reminded me of seeing ’Toy Story’ (wait for it) for the first time and just thinking ’they have nailed this style.’ Go see it in a theater!

Went to my 1st London Film Festival screening today. LFF is my happy place. I always come away inspired and thoughtful. Today was a Georgian film, ‘Supporting Actor.’ Imperfect but with Georgian humor, always sprinkled w/morbid introspection, and absurd balanced with metaphysical fascination.

So the FedEx thing actually worked out OK. But today an EVRI driver delivered the package to the public foot path BEHIND my house. There’s even a dog poop bag there to prove it. A neighbor brought it around to the front, having spotted it on their dog walk.

Walking through London comicon w/ my youngest (asd) and we’re doing ok, but kid is anxious. This is a soon to be opened ward at the Maternal Centre of Excellence and that’s a Big Ass Fan, which is the actual name for it. Combined with other mitigations, it means this part of the hospital uses much less energy than one with HVAC while staying a comfortable temperature. 2/3

Back from Sierra Leone. I will be sharing more about it soon. But I feel like we are all starved for good news. Here is some. In 2023, MDRTB treatment could take 4-6 weeks of isolation to complete. The old ward was more like a jail. Now it looks like this and in-patient treatment last 2 weeks. 1/3

In retrospect, I hear you not asking why my name is on the wall. In high school I went to KsP often and I knew/bantered with the staff. Had a place I usually sat too. One day it was occupied. I feigned outrage at an employee. He got a sharpie and wrote my name on the wall by my spot. 30yrs later…

I would like the @bbcnewsnight.bsky.social to consider that framing US judges who are rightly interpreting the law and the Constitution with deliberately misleading language is one of the many reasons less and people trust you. They aren’t INTERVENING, they’re upholding the bloody law.
