The Paris Express by Emma DonoghuePublisher: Pan MacmillanPublished: March 2025Narrated by: Justin Avoth4⭐️historical fiction/ literary fiction/ mystery/ France The Paris Express follows the journey of the Paris Express train in 1895, and I’ll be honest, it was far more interesting than I thought it was going to be! If you’re one of those people (like me!) who enjoys people-watching on public transport, then you’ll enjoy this. Loads of observations of the passengers, insights into their lives, as well as the build up to the crash at Paris (which actually happened, by the way). At one point, I wasn’t sure if it would actually end with a crash – or a far more dramatic end. This was a great listen.#bookstagram #booklove #bibliophile #instareads #bookworm
