For me, it needs UESC balanced for solo so that events like lockdown and upper complex are more attainable, and maybe extend the time limit. Depends on the company/roles, I guess, but sounds like a good way to get C-suite even further from the factory floor but with more job security, less costs, and so bigger bonuses.

I believe you about Bethesda, but maybe the Blizzard situation is different. I admit, it is a bit of a showy and non-commital trailer for Starcraft but Jez Corden says he saw gameplay footage a while ago so we'll just have to wait and see, i guess.

Dan Hay's seen 6 open world shooters ship in his career. I believe it when he has 2030 attached to his announcement. If I'm wrong, no worries. But it doesn't seem unrealistic under his leadership so I'm going with it.

Seems like it has been in production for at least a year or two, based on reports of people seeing gameplay in the past. Time will tell, I guess. Interesting viewpoint though, thanks.

I believe the game has already been in development for some time. It is a known fact that gameplay has been seen, in some shape or form. I don't think they are announcing a game around an incubation stage. Plus, it's an open world shooter and Dan Hay has a fair bit of experience in that field.

I, for one, appreciate the 2030 announcement rather than a game slated for an earler release then likely pushed back into 2030 anyway. This is also backed up by the mention of games being "on time" in the interview. Yeah, I like this clean and honest approach.
