I went to see a genetic counselor and it was much faster than my peers who went other routes! My mom got tested around the same time too, we didn’t talk about it to the doctors but I think her testing on her own definitely made them believe me more

Hot take: A lot of people are scared to associate with the word butch bc of their fatphobia. They think the word “masc” separates them from these stereotypes of butches, when they would identify this way if they didn’t care so much about being in proximity to thinness.

Not to be controversial but no, body positivity is not for everyone. It is a social movement for marginalized bodies (fat, disabled, queer, etc.) to lift up those who society puts down. Not for you as a thin/white/abled/cishet to feel better about how you look.

something that altered my brain chemistry early as a lesbian was seeing videos of women in nursing homes always advise young women to “Not have kids.
