Unexpected things that I've learnt since taking up sewing: - Sewing in 2026 involves a lot of printing - Ironing and washing are the worst bits of sewing - My house eats seam rippers

If you haven't already, please head over to therugbyhistoryproject.com and subscribe to receive updates. On the 28th February my Substack will be no more...
After starting TRHP on Substack in July 2025, I transitioned my content to therugbyhistoryproject.com in September 2025 due to issues I had with Substack. I did however leave a legacy copy on Substack, just in case. Whilst I would urge you to do your own research, I personally have issues with other content which is platformed without moderation on Substack, and even suggested alongside mine. Having my own website has come with its learning curves but it has given me more creative freedom in how I share my work.

As the move is complete and I am settled on the new site, I feel that more than enough time has passed for me to remove my work from Substack entirely. This will happen on the 28th February 2026. Please make sure you are subscribed to therugbyhistoryproject.com to receive my posts.

I would like to thank all of those who have contributed financially to TRHP as it helps pay for hosting fees, research costs, etc. It truly makes a huge difference.Trans women are women.
