Ellie Chowns looking extremely uncomfortable on #bbcnewsnight trying to defend the indefensible. I feel a bit sorry for her, she opposed the motion but seeing as though Zack Polanski is avoiding any interviews, he isn't usually camera shy, she's been thrown right in there.

Agree. She'd be a massive loss.

Chair of Amnesty International leaves the Green Party. Saying "in courting the hard left vote, Zack Polanski's party has failed to combat bigotry". Enough said.

With the new intake of Greens and the 'zionism is racism' motion passing, Labour could never join forces with them. They'd lose so many of their own voters.

Apparently I'm "beyond ridiculous" for commenting on this, calling Polanski a coward for not voting.

Well precisely. It's now policy so they all have to.

*to vote.

This just looks like an exercise in damage limitation now. Pretend unity. Both deputy leaders are at odds with each other, 4 of the 5 MPs publicly opposed the motion and the main man himself didn't even bother vote. A shambles.

Zack Polanski's only priority is Zack Polanski.

Will that be the same Zack Polanski who was too much of a coward to even vote?

I feel for you. The Brexit referendum was held on my eldest son's 21st birthday. He was away travelling in Australia at the time so I was already a bit down, and then.......

Understanding the 45p tax band.

She knows exactly what she's doing. How long before this does the rounds and gets reported and reposted by the usual suspects as fact? There's probably loads of idiots buying balaclavas as we speak in preparation for protests at Manchester Airport.
For a long tine I have heard rumours of secret flights into Manchester, plane loads of migrants. I have never believed it and still don't. If true, it should bring down the government.

They didn't, because they said "every pound" and even if they did mean that, that still isn't understanding the tax system. If they are paying 45%, it's on anything over £125k.

Again, not always. They're definitely not smarter or more hardworking but there are many out there on high incomes who got there on there own merit.

One of the comments on Laura K from someone who earns over £100k pa. "I pay 45p in every pound I earn. I think we deserve free childcare". Um, no you don't, and no you don't. That isn't how the tax system works, and really?

We went electric last month. Best thing ever. We don't have a garage or drive but fortunately my husbands place of work has. They're the low cost chargers and it cost under a fiver to get 80% charge. Definitely recommend.

It would be irresponsible to just 'make' money to fulfill mandate promises. Inflation would go through the roof. What then? Make more?

Because they're massively overpriced anyway. The prices were artificially inflated over recent years and then passed around by multi millionaires like playing cards to avoid tax and launder money. And now the oligarchs have gone....

Have we reached the point where if you have 'legitimate concerns' it's perfectly acceptable to build an actual bomb and detonate it in a public place? No Sarah, this isn't two-tier justice, it's just justice.
It does raise this point of two-tiered justice.

An attack on ANY politician is abhorrent, even politicians that we disagree with, or even dislike. But Nigel Farage mustn't be allowed to weaponise this to create more hate and division and it certainly isn't reason enough to accept dodgy donations.
