Common Rock Thrush bird,found in Ladakh region is eating Sea Buckthron betties.In the traditional Tibetan Medicine,
Sea Buckthorn berries are used to treat various digestive problems, skin disorders and its oil are used for healing wounds.

This berry's taste is a mix of bitter, sour and sweet. In August-September you would find them in many parts of Ladakh and Spiti Valley.
