It's our Trans Day of Remembrance showcase with @poeticunderground.bsky.social This showcase is close to my heart. I feel like it's a love song of resistance for my community...but I also feel a deep sense of sadness--the emptiness due to those we lost. Maybe tonights poetry will help with that.

CW: guns, death, art dealing with today's events I wrote a poem today in honor of the students and teachers who have lost their lives to gun violence. As an educator...every time this happens, it hits close to home, and today the grief overtook me

HOLY FREAKING CRAP I DID IT. Y'all, my homemade #thebandghost crop top is done. I freaking did it. And...I think it actually looks pretty okay. I am going to make some homemade jewelry with the leftover beads tomorrow, so stay tuned for that. :3 But I am so, so happy with how this turned out.

#thebandghost homemade crop top journey update. I have fabric bonded my fabric painted Ghost logo "patch" to my crop top. I am going to give it time to dry & then I will do reinforcement stitching around the edges, and will add the rainbow glass bead border. ...I think I can get this done today.

Since I have Apostle for the Omaha show...y'all we are going Queer Goth. I am making my own #thebandghost crop top. To make it very clear: A SEAMSTRESS I AM NOT. But I found this long sleeved top at my thrift store for $4.50 cents. These are the first steps.
