Other than the Zellweger trade, I’m perfectly fine with everything the Ducks have done (or not done in this case). Letting a lot of these older FAs walk is gonna be a lot of addition by subtraction. Still plenty of work to do this offseason so we’ll see if Verbeek can capitalize

The Carlson trade hasn’t aged as well as it could have now that it’s unlikely he comes back to Anaheim. Yes he was good for the Ducks, but giving up the first rounder for 6 weeks of him and no extension really isn’t great asset management for a team just entering their contention window
