This one definitely borrows more than a few cues from IG while we’re at it.

Not saying they’re a misunderstood group or anything, but are we really just going to disregard stuff like Sketch just because of who put it out?

After so many non-starters, one has to wonder if Disney will decide that the property just isn’t something they can meaningfully add on to and just sell it back to Henson Studios. Unlikely, I know, but it wouldn’t be the first time they went through something like that.

Well, you’re missing out. And also if they had gone through with it, it technically wouldn’t even have been the first movie to have that title.

HOWEVER. There were no handheld Mario games featuring Bowser as an antagonist released before that point in time, and there wouldn’t be until 1999 with Super Mario Bros Deluxe, exclusive to the Game Boy Color.

So apparently they said they’re not, if you’re willing to take this at face value:

I don’t think “worse and worse” is a guarantee (someone’s gotta stay optimistic, right?), but there certainly has been a lot more cautionary sci-fi tales penned since the ride’s heyday. Some of which even got attractions that used to exist around the same time as this one.

And here I am constantly being reminded of a film with the same title that I watched once as a kid about dogs from outer space.

“It’s okay guys, Peach and Rosalina are only sisters in the movies! We can still ship the game versions of them!” Miyamoto:

Ai Ai, since conception, has always had five digits on each hand until as recently as 2021’s Banana Mania. But that all changed in the very next game Banana Rumble when SUDDENLY, Ai Ai and his friends all had only four:

Gladly. Y’see, it is a tale of two monkeys in particular. The first is Amigo from SEGA’s Samba de Amigo series, who originally had only four digits on each hand, but this was changed to five for the most recent game, Party Central on Switch:

Critter Capers Pg. 41-44 #comic #webcomic #anthro #anthropomorphic This really shouldn't have taken as long to update, but had to take some time out to get life stuff sorted out. Hopefully more frequent uploads here going forward.
