not to brag (but actually to brag) I really do love this BR Discard deck, it's so good and exactly what i've been struggling to build on my own for 12 months

4-0 at Monday night magic with a deck I've been trying off and on for 11 months. shout out the pt players that finally made it good. only lost one game in all the matches, to lessons. 2-0 kavaero, 2-0 izzer aggro, 2-1 lessons, 2-0 lessons

Ok I got a bit excited with early access and people doing deck building past couple of days. I've made 15 standard decks and 3 modern decks (i'm sure i'll uptick on modern with mtgo tomorrow) Please steal them, tweek them, make them better, let me know what you think - moxfield.com/users/CjLink

becoming a new year's tradition at this point

Cj @cjlink.bsky.social · 30/12/2025

Oh this is a tough one. I think I gotta split it three ways between Mako, Monument, and Cosmogoyf. Mako really brought stability and power to Hollow One in modern and I love him for that. Monument and Cosmogoyf have been my favorite to brew around since they released

solid numbers. one less book but like 5k more pages worth this year. top books in no particular order were def: Strength of the Few, Vicious, Perdido Street Station big shout to the litrpgs though. Carl and He who fights monsters were great series and can't wait for next installments

000

100

mines of moria is my favorite mtg expansion for sure. this whole running fight scene is great

this lil guy is legal for a while longer too

Cj @cjlink.bsky.social · 08/06/2025

there's lore there, a whole movie and 2 seasons of Andor worth

Cj @cjlink.bsky.social · 30/05/2025

I don't like this... gonna make urza's saga a lil too strong i think. Moon effects are going to make the land part of it a basic mountain but it's going to retain it's saga-ness and not die. From my understanding it'll retain abilities from the saga as well magic.wizards.com/en/news/feat...

Finally! Ok so I've been working on this stupid monument for the last week (with help from @thatladyfreya.bsky.social) and I've tried Rakdos, Izzet, Grixis, all in various permutations but figured out a sweet spot in Mono Red. Took it from plat up to mythic. Prob needs tweeks for competitive still

DFT looks cool, ish. not quite as much f&f or mad max i was hoping but solid vibes still this border treatment is fucking hideous though. i can already see them getting banned from comp use for being so bright yellow that you can see their glow from within a sleeve

Cj @cjlink.bsky.social · 14/01/2025

Ok but this turn 1 is kinda gnarly. randomly ran into it in tourney practice
