One I could have written myself. If you're not a donor, it's well worth doing, and not just for the biscuits. 👌

4 to go. 👊 It's been a crazy old #NCFC season. 🤪 From the depths of 23rd to the ahem heights of 9th (currently). Despair to relief to delight. 😀 4 points off the Champs of Coventry. None off the Chumps of Ipswich 😩 Long old poke down to Bristol for the Y&G faithful. Let's spoil the Hodgson party. 😉

I've seen some poor officiating. This takes the gold medal. Utterly shocking. #ncfc #otbc

This is it for me. You can't easily evaluate such an emotionally charged game when it's been punctuated by such a controversial moment.

I'm not normally one to criticise refs, but that was an absolute shocker, and he's lost control. It's completely transformed the game. Needs Touré on. We've not been brilliant, but these can be cracked open. #ncfc #otbc

Massive game today, and a smart lineup. Shame to miss Freddie, but glad to see Jack on the bench. Up the Parma Farmers. 💪💜 #lcfc #uti #uptheimps

Doesn't seem to matter how much you deplete Clement's squad. He'll come back fighting... #ncfc #otbc

How responsible was the Manning era for our injury record? It seems pretty clear the fitness levels were nowhere near where they should be when Clement took over, and building those back mid-season was always going to be a tall order. Tantalising for next season, but so frustrating. #ncfc #otbc

Can't see Gibbs staying, he just hasn't been able to find his place.

The quality and intensity with which this squad is now playing, with Clement only two months into the job, makes you question what on earth Manning was up to. #ncfc #otbc

Made up for Jurasek: written off by a large part of the fanbase, so goes to show how vital good coaching is in developing young players. As for Makama, I knew he was quality at Lincoln, but even I'm staggered to see him hit his stride so soon. I'm in awe. Lovely to feel positive. #ncfc #otbc

Joyous to witness the positivity bubbling around the Canaries. Seems to be a genuine shock that some of our signings (Mattson, Wright, Schwartau, etc) aren't as bad as they seemed to be. What it proves is just how essential good coaching is, and fully expect to see more blossom. #ncfc #otbc

It's been ages since I've made it to a game, so planned to join my Dad and brother at the Imps game this evening. Only realised later that Norwich are at Bramall Lane. Crossing my fingers for both, but more fearful for the Canaries tonight. #lcfc #uti #ncfc #otbc

So rare that I'm actually in Norwich, and I couldn't make it to the first home win of the season. Really chuffed for the lads though. I've never believed we have rubbish players, just something's been missing. Looks like it was quality coaching, and Clement might give us that. #ncfc #otbc

I know we can't expect an immediate turnaround, but 1-0 down in the opening five is a bit heartbreaking. That said, I'm optimistic about the Clément appointment, and I'm confident there's time to turn the season around. #otbc #ncfc #coyy

CJ Löffler @cjlfflr.bsky.social · 01/11/2025

There's an opportunity to turn things around today. Mark Attanasio's input this week could steady the nerves (both on the pitch and in the stands), and Hull are beatable, even if we haven't shown many signs of beating anyone lately. Backing us to get the win. Then roll on Wednesday. #otbc #ncfc

Today I'll be tuning in for the #Imps game against Leyton Orient, following along while my mate attends. An incredible start to the season, and a real example of how a properly united club (from board to bench) can create an engine that punches well above its weight. #lcfc #uti

020

CJ Löffler @cjlfflr.bsky.social · 25/10/2025

Knapper has been criticised for his silence, and rightly so. But Adams, Webber, and even Attanasio could have stepped up. Fans just want something to get behind, and clear, frank, honest messaging would go a hell of a long way. I'll keep backing the boys, but I wish the club would do the same.

020

CJ Löffler @cjlfflr.bsky.social · 25/10/2025

My biggest takeaway from recent weeks is the lack of accountability from the club. Manning has been sent out to face the media week in week out with zero support, and it hardly screams confidence or backing. No wonder the players seem disillusioned, there's no sense of true togetherness.

120

CJ Löffler @cjlfflr.bsky.social · 25/10/2025

Finally brought myself to watch the #ncfc highlights. Against an admittedly poor Derby, there were honestly some excellent moments at both ends. I try not to be knee jerk as a fan. I asked how Manning could come back, but a decent run would change everything. Football's mercurial, it could happen.

120

CJ Löffler @cjlfflr.bsky.social · 18/10/2025

Normally I'd give a manager more time (including JHT, fwiw). I struggle to see how Manning comes back. He can't get this squad firing, and I'm still convinced there's talent there. I don't think it was an unwise appointment, it's just not working, and it could still get worse. #ncfc

120

CJ Löffler @cjlfflr.bsky.social · 05/10/2025

A rough start to the #NCFC season, but I'm not losing hope, and a decent result in the derby could be a real catalyst to kick on. Come on lads. Dig deep, do us proud. 💪🏻💛💚 #otbc

CJ Löffler @cjlfflr.bsky.social · 01/10/2025

In fairness, their keeper put in a superb shift, and it doesn't feel like last season, where we looked constantly panicked. It just felt like there was a permanent missing piece and an inability to identify it.

110

CJ Löffler @cjlfflr.bsky.social · 01/10/2025

That's frustrating. We weren't dreadful by any stretch, and there are some real players there, but it felt worryingly low on confidence and imagination. Vulnerable on the counter and nervous on the break. Maybe I should have stayed checked out. #ncfc

CJ Löffler @cjlfflr.bsky.social · 01/10/2025

Have sort of mentally checked out football-wise over the past couple of weeks, what with the new school term. Tonight's the first time I've been able to watch the Canaries live in a while. Struggling to get grips with what isn't clicking in the Norwich camp. Any insights? #ncfc #otbc

CJ Löffler @cjlfflr.bsky.social · 27/09/2025

Really hoping Makama makes his first league start today. He's made a solid bid for it, and, while I'm still expecting our continental signings to come good, I think he'd bring a certain EFL nous that would make massive difference right now. #ncfc #otbc

A lot of fans have become far too focused on the short-term. A good win, and they're ecstatic; a loss or two, and they're calling for sackings. Realistically, as a club, we want to be a Brighton or Bournemouth, and their success was achieved by long-term vision and patient building.

010

CJ Löffler @cjlfflr.bsky.social · 30/08/2025

Exactly the kind of result and performance Norwich needed after a turbulent week. For all the clamour, I think we've got the makings of a superb squad and a pragmatic manager who'll find the right formula. Got to back them now. Marcelino who? #ncfc #otbc

160

CJ Löffler @cjlfflr.bsky.social · 28/08/2025

Flip the saga: Ipswich are signing an injury-prone, inconsistent player who's unproven above the Championship. They're paying multiples of his value in the last 10 months of his contract. And he's at Norwich. If this is how panicky their recruitment is, I'd be more worried as a Binner. #ncfc

070

CJ Löffler @cjlfflr.bsky.social · 27/08/2025

Get why it hurts when it's a rival, but I'm struggling to get too wound up about it. He doesn't want to stay, his contract is up soon, and they're prepared to pay silly money. Take away the "lovely jubbly," and he's hardly set the world on fire and is injury prone. Good riddance. #ncfc

Feeling pretty positive about Norwich going into the first game of the season. I'll be honest, I was really concerned at the end of 24/25, but Manning looks to be a wise appointment, and the squad is looking far stronger. Now to prove it. #ncfc #otbc @canaries.co.uk

Adult - 'Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell' by Susanna Clarke I've yet to recommend it to someone who's gone on to enjoy it, but I'm in love. Child - 'My Side of the Mountain' by Jean Craighead George My American auntie bought it for me as a British ten-year-old, and it fuelled many escapist dreams.

A really bittersweet transfer for me. With my Imps hat on, I'm gutted to see him leave, as I think he had a big part to play this season, but the money is huge. As a Canary, I'm excited, as he has massive potential and deserves the opportunity. A good deal all round. #ncfc #lcfc #otbc #uti

I have a foot in both camps (family from Norfolk, grew up in Lincs). I think he's a very exciting prospect: uses his physicality well; plays best when out wide and cutting into the box; has a great touch. He's also developed real confidence at Lincoln. Needs some polish, but could be brilliant.
