First Folsom SF was a success! Spent 5 days with some very good friends, unlimited laughs, sights, good vibes and amazing food. Taking home many memories that I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life. 🥰🥰

Pretty crazy seeing this come together after literal years of planning, learning and researching. The circumstances kinda suck but I’m going to keep pushing myself until it’s complete. From blueprint to reality though, it’s an awesome thing to see.

Sometimes a project can be very overwhelming, feeling impossible at times. But every little win, every inch forward, is still progress. Keep going, it will be worth it at the end.

I got this super adorable art as a surprise for a very special someone! They aren’t here on bsky but I didn’t want to post it until I gave it to them in person! Now that I have, enjoy this amazing piece by the super talented @rustyruu.bsky.social 🥰🥰

Another little cover skit I’ve been wanting to do for a while. I forget how much I enjoy making these! When the homie says they love you. 🥰

If you fly by me on the thruway, but I pass you on the next curve because baby is too scared to take turns fast, all while I’ve maintained a constant speed…well, your going to get a thumbs down and it may hurt your feefees. 🤣

Went and saw the 4014 UP BigBoy as it passed through my home town this morning! What absolutely impressive machine! :D

Valve covers have been painted and cleaning + reassembly has started!

Got the Z’s VG engine as tore down as I’m gonna go for now. Took the valve covers off to give them a nice coat of silver to bring back that oe factory look. After those, reassembly can start!

Rainy day tomorrow, seems like a good time to start the cleaning process and power was this thing outside. 😂

Man it’s been a minute since I spent time in the garage for anything but immediate car repairs. Felt nice to put some time into the Z. Got the engine out and continued tearing it down.

I absolutely dispise Marketplace interactions. Wed: “$175 for all these parts, picked up on Friday?” “Sounds good” Thurs: “Still on for tomorrow?” -nothing, crickets, left on read. Fri: “Hey man, I only have $140, is that fine?” No. Go try that at any retailer, what do you think? 😑

What freakin child is yelling at hotel staff cause they didn’t get their way or a room. 😂 Grow tf up and treat people with respect. Also welcome to large conventions with limited accommodations, get used to it.

What do ya do when you have a podium potential car…take it all apart and change everything 😂. I can’t help myself but to tinker and change things to make it better.

Ngl, been sticking to an actual form of diet and been getting natural workouts in while doing home renovations. Can say I’m happily maintaining a goal weight and happy with how my body looks so far 😅 noticed I’m kinda matching my VRC avi a little xD

I’d say the first round of super drift competition was successful ^_^! The day started IMMEDIATELY with a broken motor, literally not even one lap and the motor shaft snapped. Luckily a good friend let me borrow his spare motor. Honestly don’t expect this outcome but I’m happy nonetheless! :)

Installed a direct drive steering system into the rear motor YD2. Spent a few hours at the track tuning alignment, suspension and servo tune to make it smooooth. Pretty happy with it! The front end is way more responsive! First round of competition next weekend, car is feeling gooood! 😄

Challenged myself to do these Supra taillights as realistic as my current abilities allow, I ended up impressing myself haha. Used some new (to me) Tamiya paints and ended up loving the result of tinting the lexan to resemble colored clear glass/plastic light lenses. :D
