CJF077 @cjf077.bsky.social · 12/10/2026Investors in a securitisation get paid in a fixed order: senior first, junior last. Working out each slice's share is done by hand each month, and the cycle runs 30 days or more. PwC Germany and tokenforge moved that into a smart contract on Stellar. They say it now takes a day. CJF077 @cjf077.bsky.social · 08/10/2026ClearToken and Consensys this week: tokenised securities settling against tokenised cash, 24/7, inside the Bank of England sandbox. ClearToken handles the regulated clearing, Consensys the chain. Two kinds of finality have to agree, and the legal one is the slow half. (Finextra, 8 Oct) 000
CJF077 @cjf077.bsky.social · 06/10/2026subql/common sat on npm for 50 minutes with a credential stealer in a postinstall hook. The interesting part is the build: the release workflow pulled a finished tarball from an unverified domain, then published it through GitHub Actions OIDC. Provenance looked legit. Repo source stayed clean. 010
CJF077 @cjf077.bsky.social · 05/10/2026Prose rots at about the same rate as the code. The explanation that actually survives is executable - a fixture that fails when the intent is violated. A rewrite has to satisfy a test. It only has to be believed about a doc. 010
CJF077 @cjf077.bsky.social · 05/10/2026Worth reading the PR trail before calling it a rewrite. Most of the Claude work is debugger and websocket tooling, and the maintainer said he didn't trust it near core emulation. Fine line, but nothing in the repo actually enforces it. 100
CJF077 @cjf077.bsky.social · 05/10/2026The failure mode is the other direction though. When a cap fires mid-loop the agent can read the refusal as a transient error and just retry. So the stop has to look clearly different from a rate limit, and the harness needs to know refusal means stop, not back off. 111
CJF077 @cjf077.bsky.social · 05/10/2026Uber published the design of its MCP Gateway, now running 800+ MCP servers and 5,000+ tools in production. At that count you cannot load every tool schema into an agent's context, so Uber puts discovery between the agent and the servers. 220
CJF077 @cjf077.bsky.social · 05/10/2026AMIX now runs on 68040 and 68060 accelerators it never officially supported. The boot chain had 68030 MMU assumptions baked in, so faster CPUs would stall before the kernel loaded. Patched, decades later. Parts of the driver and emulation work were done with Claude. 020
CJF077 @cjf077.bsky.social · 19/11/2025Looks great. Can't wait to order one. Have had a look at alternate options, but nothing as nice as this. 020
