Huevember Day 7 🧡 : Lava...frogs! Lava pools always looked like they would be a nice little pond grotto for a creature, you know, if they weren't so hot...molten. These little guys seem none too bothered by it, though. #huevember2025 #huevember

Huevember Day Six 🧡: New prompt, carabara?? I think it’s a capybara mascot for Cara.app. I went in a simpler direction with today, seeing as Capybaras serve as a good reminder to not to take things so seriously all the time. #huevember2025 #huevember

Huevember Day 5 🤍: Pearl One of the best things about painting is when you can use everything but the color itself to represent a hue. That’s where to real magic happens in my opinion. #huevember2025 #huevember

#Huevember Day Four 💛: Ginkgo...knot! The fan-shaped Gingko leaves reminded me of the shapes of a Dara Knot. The Dara knot is a very old symbol that is said to be inspired by the intertwined roots of an oak tree. The oak is said to symbolize strength, the Gingko, longevity, and resilience.

Huevember Day Three 💛: Ginkgo We may enjoy their fleeting beauty in our modern day but both the ginkgo trees and butterflies have been around for at least 100 million years. 🍁 #huevember2025 #huevember #digitalpainting #illustration

#Huevember2025 Day 1💚: A twist on day one's stars prompt: it's a serpentine nebula —the birthplace of stars. The Nebula snake is based on the Rough Greensnake, a native species to the Midwest. Made for Cara.app's Huevember event. First time participating in this event!

The nights are getting a little bit longer and fall is approaching fast, at least up here in the Northern Hemisphere. Here’s to enjoying the last days of summer 🌕 I started this owl painting as a study a while back, but was having so much fun exploring I just had to turn it into a full painting.

Close-ups from 'The Owl Phoenix' painting. All those exciting details can get lost in the overall composition. Here's their time to shine! 🔥

"The Owl Phoenix" - The first in a series of paintings. It's an interesting idea, wildfire is seen as destructive, yet it's an integral part of the forest's life cycle. Many seeds need fire as a catalyst to sprout. Like the phoenix, life and death are not so much opposites as one and the same.

Full Cover illustration for 'The Seekers: Perrin Perkins' by Anton Anderson. Posting the full painting without text to show the illustration in its entirety. Looks like our protagonist has his work cut out for him...Good thing the story has been released this week!

I made a font for an anthropomorphic bee people. It's kind of hieroglyphic like Oracle Bones Chinese + Mayan + Egyptian, with symbols deriving from things that would matter to a bee, such as sun location, plant part, stylized bee shape, and weather shorthand. #visdev #conceptart #fantasyfont

A very happy #InternationalBagpipeDay to you all! I’m celebrating with a still-life painting of a pair of vintage R.G. Hardie’s that have been my delightful partner-in-crime for the past year ❤️
