Strong families are the foundation for strong neighborhoods and thriving communities. I was glad to spend some time celebrating moms at the Mother’s Day Brunch at the Reeb Center today.

The Trump administration is gutting funding to address homelessness because cities aren’t in lockstep with the President’s extreme agenda. We’re fighting back and urging the Court to strike down these unconstitutional mandates that would hurt the most vulnerable in our society.

As proud as I am to be City Attorney, the most important title I’ll ever have is “Dad.” Stella and Rocco joined me at the office for Bring Your Kids to Work Day. I’m grateful for the chance to show them the work we do and the incredible team behind it.

Pope Francis was a wonderful leader of the Catholic Church, doing his best to push the church forward and focus on the Judeo-Christian values we hold must hold dear—caring for the poor, feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, sheltering the homeless, and welcoming the stranger.

Efforts to make it harder to keep tobacco out of the hands of teens and overburden law enforcement is a bad idea, plain and simple. I’m committed to defending the rights of cities to pass and enforce laws that keep our kids healthy and safe.

One of my favorite things about being City Attorney is that no two days are alike. Here’s a glimpse into my life, from taking my kids to school and hitting the gym to speaking with police recruits, mentoring my Big Brothers & Big Sisters little, and going to work for you. Enjoy! 📸

Here in Columbus, we believe that diversity should be celebrated, not targeted or attacked. I was honored to join a roundtable discussion at Stonewall Columbus today and will always stand alongside our LGBTQ+ friends and neighbors.

The Trump administration’s reckless actions have real world consequences and must be stopped. These cuts don’t make us healthier or safer—especially with cases of #measles and whooping cough on the rise in our own backyard.

The Trump administration is undermining programs and harming the communities that stand to benefit from them. In Columbus, those communities are historically Black neighborhoods and other disadvantaged areas. Steven is absolutely right—it’s wrong and we won’t stand for it.

I recently met with members of my team to discuss our vision for a domestic violence only court. This would streamline the process for everyone involved and give victims immediate access to the services they need all in one place. We’ll keep you posted on our progress.

The chaos in Washington is: ❌ Killing jobs ❌ Threatening local investments ❌ Stalling community-based projects Here in Columbus, DOGE seems to be targeting a data-driven tree planting initiative just because it’s in a historically Black neighborhood. We won’t stand for it.
