Final "Roll of the Day" in office (for the foreseeable future). I asked my d20 to give me a nat 20 for a grand finish...it decided to trade me with a 14 (which is right next to the 20, the citrus slice).

So I am hyped up for tomorrow's Full Moon tomorrow (that will take place on my natal Sun). I decided to do a practice ritual and briefly caught my own hair on fire by accident. I knew immediately what to do and didn't panic. THIS IS YOUR FRIENDLY REMINDER ABOUT FIRE SAFETY: STOP, DROP, AND ROLL!

So it is officially Gingerbread Chai Latte season! Am I bummed out that it doesn't have oat milk by default this year? Yes, not a big deal since it's an easy swap. Since I now prefer iced over hot drinks, I learned that non-dairy gingerbread cold foam exists and my obsession is now dangerous. 🤣

Another fun thing to mention: since I am still in the process of getting my house in order, I decided to do an eyeshadow palette declutter. Cut down the number I had in half. Some of the decluttered palettes (the ones with fun colors) I am going to repurpose as pigments for dice (for science).

Update I have found the source. It's a 95% used Mulled Cider candle. That candle wasn't overly strong fragrance wise when I lit it, let alone even before it was used. So I am more intrigued that suddenly the scent wants to make its presence known. It's even overpowering the new candle I just lit.

The extra effort it took to make this Avocado Toast was worth it. I added some of my leftover corn pepper salsa I made yesterday as a bonus topping. Recipe & ingredients in the alt text. Oh and I totally forgot to use my roasted garlic 🤣. I will save it for the pasta salad I am making later.

Two slices of aocado toast on a guacamole seasoned whole grain bread. The diced avocado is topped with corn pepper salsa and cherry tomatoes (three on each slice). The avocado toast is on a gray plastic plate.

Recipe

Bread: The Avocado Bread Company Sliced Bread (Seeds & Grains made with Guacamole Spices).

Seasoned Avocado: avocado (diced), citrus sea salt, garlic powder, smoked black pepper.

Corn Pepper Salsa: Canned corn, diced red onion and rainbow bell peppers, garlic, lime juice, smoked black pepper, citrus sea salt, cilantro, Mexican oregano, jalapeno powder (although half the batch doesn't have jalapeno powder).

Roasted Cherry Tomatoes: cherry tomatoes, garlic olive oil, sea salt, garlic salt (very minimal), smoked black pepper.

Yesterday I found guacamole seasoned bread at the grocery store. I bought it because I thought it would be perfect for fancy avocado toast. I wanted to go all out, so I spent like 30 minutes peeling a bulb of garlic to roast. Now is the worst time to discover I am out of aluminum foil. 🤣

I haven't cleaned these up yet, but I would consider this set a failure due to the air bubbles. However, I got the vibes I wanted: Vegas Bachelorette Party!

To anyone who is concerned that I used the term, "gaslighting myself", it's only for the irony (when looking at myself, I have a lens of dark humor). I've been gaslit before and it's a horrendous experience. However, tricking my own brain into liking a beverage is not going to affect anyone else.

If you would have told me 3 months ago that trying to gaslight myself into liking coffee would actually be a success, I wouldn't believe you. Granted: 1) it needs vanilla 2) must be a light roast. So in a sense, it is an acquired taste. I still love Chai Tea, but now I can mix it up.

This design came out perfectly! I went outside in 87°F weather to truly capture the sparkles (that is how excited I am for these results). I get heat exhaustion really easily, so I will be on the struggle bus next week. Trying to decide what color to ink these dice in. Any suggestions?
