You could say, his constant food escapades w/ her in this AU is his way to compensate her (and internally redeem himself) in his eyes ⚔️✒️ is still in their friendship era atm, so tbh I can't see ⚔️/✒️ develop any feelings until they talk things through lmao

⚔️ was more irritated cuz someone else was able to break ✒️'s shell even further (the first was 🗡). Esp since his offhanded statement as a kid also "helped" propagate ✒️'s downward spiral to self-depreciation back then

Kumugi: K
Gokuraku: G
Ichi: I
Higarashi: H

Page 1
Panel 1
K: Did I really grin that widely back then?

Panel 2
G: (Yea!) The way you go "ba-baam" to that Mayoi thing was so cool! It even made my heart skip a beat!
K: (Gosh) Now I feel super embarrassed...

Panel 3
G: As long as you're having fun, nothing matters honestly
K: Y-yeah! You're probably right, Gokuraku-san.
G: I personally think you look adorable when you grin like that, Mugi-chan!
K: (Ado—) EH?!

Panel 4
Irrita—ted
(Looking from the sidelines)

Page 2
Panel 1
I: Why're you irritated, Higarashi?

Panel2
H: How about asking that question to yourself? Shouldn't *you* be wondering why *you* are irritated, Ichi? (You're all buddies, no?)

Panel 3
Ichi looks dumbfounded

Panel 4
I: (Huh...) Why did I get irritated when they're getting along?
H: Oi Mugi!

Panel 5:
I: (Well whatever.)
H: Boxie's already waiting at the parfait shop—so chop chop!
K: (Higa-kun?) Oh right! I'll go grab my waller right now!
G: (Hicchan~) Can Icchan and I come along too? (I'm curious.)
H: (Sure, but) You okay not having hands to eat there?
G: (Master Lo (Love Joe) is making them again.) I can ask Icchan or Mugi-chan for help!

Can't believe Mugi has come a long way since ch4 and ch32. I'm so proud of her .･ﾟﾟ･(／ω＼)･ﾟﾟ･. Anyhow for some reason I always think of her as a jack (cards) or a bishop (chess). Also TIL in some games, jack is promoted to a higher/highest position who knew

Tried home printing+adding some cold laminations from last year's cf21 art trade experiments I like the +25 saturated look for the holo stuff, since the colors popped a bit more compared to the base ver Also no proper lighting cuz I'm lazy wkwk

My personal hc - ✒️ is bold, assertive, and kinda needy when drunk. Think canon!✒️ (c47, ch98), but more action instead of words lol - ⚔️ is extra clingy and very open+honest abt his feelings to ✒️ when drunk. Also openly brags to his coworkers (esp MK) abt how cute ✒️ is in his eyes lmao
